Looking like she might get her crap deal over the line yet. If anything good is to come from that, it will be powerful and irresistible Scottish demands for Indy2.

The deal could be anything from a hard brexit with an Irish solution through Norway plus to remaining. Nothing has been decided or even negotiated on for the final arrangement.

The changes the DUP and ERG want, in the way that they want, will not be forthcoming. Caroline Flint speaks for herself and herself only. Not many more of her colleagues have spoken out; certainly not the 30 she’s claiming. On this issue, any Labour MPs who breaks a whip and supports May’s deal should be immediately kicked out of the Labour Party.

Naah..... If they were to run with a campaign along the lines of : "Scotland is effectively out of the EU because that's what England voted for" The chances are that is how it will pan out, and will prove to be absolutely true. Don't you think a majority of Scots would consider that, and vote accordingly?

Until a campaign’s launched I don’t think there’s going to be movement anyway.

It may be unwise to open an Indy campaign on that basis.

I would suspect the gap would be even more if there was to be another referendum.
Detournement
But it's safe to say that most people feel more strongly about independence and the union than the EU. The levels of engagement in each referendum are testament to that.

The rules for a post-Brexit world are yet to be determined.
