welshbairn
The EU position. It's up to the EU 27 leaders though. https://uk.reuters.com/article/uk-britain-eu-commission-idUKKCN1R11ES
btb
A bit overtaken by events but what amazed me is that it was only 6 minutes after it was announced that May was asking for a three month delay that Andrea Leadsom was briefing against it saying we couldn't go beyond May 23, the EU elections - 6 fucking minutes!

If they decide May's deal is better than No deal or revoking article 50, the DUP and ERG no longer matter. So now Labour and the Tories need to be in a suicide pact to bring in No Deal. MV3 should happen now because Macron's intervention has made the circumstances substantially different. DeeTillEhDeh
It's time for the remainers or moderates within the Tory party to step up to the plate and confront the hard-line Brexiteers. May has never really confronted them and continually kicked the can down the road hoping it will all sort itself out. She did the exact same on the Irish border issue. Now everything is up in the air and we are heading for a catastrophe. This. This has always been the tail wagging the dog - May too scared to stand up to the b*****ds.

May is a shambles. Possibly the most useless leader since that 19th century American president that spent 99% of his time in a fucking coma. You have to hate Tories.

welshbairn
Not sure how old this is but May must have known the position. Asking for June 30th must have been a deliberate ploy to get it turned down. Or just incompetence. The party leaders have been invited to Downing St at 6pm. Maybe she wants the longer option but to stop the ERG going ballistic she wants Parliament to take the blame. Who knows anymore.
Guest Bob Mahelp
May begging for other parties help, and assistance from the EU, is quite delicious given that she's been an absolute khqunt for the last 3 years.
UsedToGoToCentralPark
Good for Blackford making it very clear to May, that if she won't consider another referendum on Europe, the SNP will demand Indy2.When they lose would he have to resign as well as the FM? Almost worth voting no to see the back of those 2.

Donathan
I'm now hearing this is just tabloid gossip from the French and Macron won't block. Disappointing.

This is just the pessimist in me but I'd imagine May is summoning the opposition leaders to tell them it's her deal or no deal so they ought to vote Aye in MV3

That you and your ilk would rather see Scotland going to hell in a handcart because either you don't like a poltician or prefer to be manacled to absolute fucking minters is a damning indictment of unionist thinking. Back on topic, May should simply resign. She has zero grounds for still being the PM. Get her to f**k and get an election called where everyone can clearly state in their manifesto just exactly what their intentions are. Detournement
Keir Starmer isn't going to be Labour leader ever. Keir as DPP prosecuted no one for the financial crash. Keir chose not to prosecute the police officer who murdered Iain Tomlinson. In contrast he wanted to jail fraudulent benefit claimants for 10 years. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/benefit-cheats-face-10-years-in-prison-as-keir-starmer-sets-out-tough-new-crown-prosecution-service-8818201.html
