Ireland currently has bigger growth per capita than UK. It's a richer more progressive country.
BTW load of countries have been bailing UK.. ie they borrow money.

Credit rating agencies don't get to decide which country is the richest. The Irish economy outscores the UK on just about everything and guess what ? They don't even have austerity anymore.
