John Lambies Doos
I'm accepting apologies, acknowledgements and climbdowns in good grace, form a queue, sexists and racists first (you know who you are). Tipped by myself also. Pre count

thisal
I find it quite quite amusing that a Republican Billionaire property tycoon being elected as President of the USA is seen as a kick int he teeth to the establishment.
Peppino Impastato
That is true but it'smmore the point he's not a politician and the entire establishment was against him.
pandarilla
I'm not a fan of Margaret Beckett but she's just got absolutely fired in about trump. No-one could argue with her assessment that he's a disgusting and vile man.

Climb downs? Apologies? For what? Anyone that thought this couldn't happen was just ridiculously naive.
Lex
Going to be interesting to watch from afar. He could appoint a raft of experienced republican advisors and cabinet members and delegate all important policy decisions to them. Be a symbolic president, but an inactive one.Or he could do it all himself.

Even more thought that it shouldn't.

Pretty difficult to satirise it when fact is more laughable than fiction.

He'll probably do something daft like promise Putin he can have Alaska back by mistake. "What did you say Vlad, oh whatever, sure, why not. Where do I sign, got to go."

He is completely and totally unfit to be President. He has no knowledge, no experience and, based on what I've seen and heard from him, absolutely no desire to learn. He does, however, have a massive ego and that egotism seems to be his defining characteristic. I have no idea what his response will be once he realises that the job is beyond his capabilities but I don't think it will be passive.

Not being funny here but how do you know that the job is beyond his capabilities?
