All we need now is an intelligent separatist poster. The law of averages would indicate that there must be one out there.

Well it's not you, Minter. You've been doing a grand job of making separatism from the EU look like the preserve of braindead, mentally-defective Uncle Tams.

Yes we need an SNP poster which clearly tells everyone to   "Vote for the SNP and help us join the United States of Europe" !

Independence for Scotland ? What a laugh, when the EU controls our laws, finances, borders, democracy, and ever increasing 'Europe-isation' !

If the bookies were correct and the favourite won each constituency this would be the result.

SNP 48

CON 6

LIB 4

LAB 1

I think that'll be roughly correct when the counting is done. Lib Dems might not get East Dunbartonshire, the Tories might gain one or two others in the North East. Labour will be lucky to have one.

Angus

I know you and your right-wing buddies would love this - Angus must be a fight between the SNP and Tories given cooncil vote, NO vote, fairly close REMAIN vote and reduced majority in 2016? Any Angus-ers on this thread confirm?

I'd also imagine East Lothian will be a third way between SNP, Labour and Tories (is the Labour candidate a Corbynite?)

SNP will get 50. Labour none. The rest torys and ld

50 SNP seats would be a win win situation for both the SNP and the CONSERVATIVES.

The SNP would simply say that they are still the largest party with the biggest support.

The Conservatives would say that the SNP losing say 6+ seats coupled with an increase in their seats and vote percentage is a show of support against indy 2.

As has been well established, being roundly humped in an election by the SNP is only a win for the Conservatives.

On a serious note, that the SNP probably won't win as high a number of seats as last time isn't really indicative of anything other than the unionist core vote realigning under the Tory banner. Any suggestion that an increased Tory vote equals less appetite for indyref2 is naive at best, and downright dishonest at worst.

Wot a load of shite. It's been well discussed even at tory level that a majority of seats for the SNP ie 30 is a mandate for indy 2. Not very long ago another female prime minister stated that a majority of SNP seats in Scotland would be a mandate for UDI!!!

But heh let's suck up the spin eh Kev. 90% + off seats is no mandate....!!! Get real

In fact could you imagine the torys got 90%+ seats across UK... imagine the biased media challenging any mandate they might have...

That a rhetorical question btw

Hmmm... and if Celtic lose a game or two in the next Scot Prem campaign while still winning the championship handsomely then should Brendan Rogers walk?
