Oliver McBurnie

The sooner we come to terms with the fact that McBurnie is no better than Chris Iwelumo the better

His height and lack of sock material are his biggest talking points, which only tend to distract from his lack of ability as an international footballer.

In conclusion he is gash

He's 21 years old.  When Chris Iwelumo was 21 he was playing in the Danish 2nd Division.

Mcburnie definitely has a chance.  A lot of attributes, just needs a wee bit more experience.

He is not ready for international football, he plays at the lower reaches of the championship for a reason

He will probably be released by Swansea or let go for a small fee then end up at ibrox

If there were on form, fit strikers playing at the top end of the Championship or EPL then your point would be valid. There aren't, and it is not.

He got loaned there in January to get some experience and was in Swansea's match day squad every week for months before that.  He'll maybe be at rangers in ten years when his career is winding down, he's far too good for them just now.

If Swansea go down he's first choice next season, if they stay up he'll be coming off the bench or loaned out to the championship again.

I wish people would do a modicum of research before posting.

0.77 goals per 90 for a team that's one place above relegation is pretty decent.

Including a missed penalty so it could be even better.  He so obviously has a fkn great chance to become a big player for Scotland I kind of use it as a rule of thumb that anyone who slates him knows fk all and is to be ignored.

He's obviously the outstanding candidate to succeed Griffith's as first choice right now and great foil for him in a two. I watched him start a league game at anfield right before he got loaned out and he really did not bad at all in what was a really tough role for him that night.
