Yip. He has hair now ….

I saw that!

I mean we're discussing him now, as we are an ex-team and that he's not scoring with you, it is a signal to the "gods of football" for him to play a blinder.

We tried for Van Veen in January with pretty much the same set of strikers we have now. Clearly Robinson and Co believe he can bring something to the team and it's not just a "best of a bad bunch" or no other options scenario.

Gotta have faith. We've got a good team, just been unlucky with injuries and the euro games aren't something we're used to dealing with. I reckon it'll all come good soon enough 😊

Anyway, it's worth revisiting this video if you need any convincing that he's just a natural footballer.

Some of those goals reminds me of the style of Frank “Elvis” Worthington.

Is KVV a bit of a shagger too?

I’ve a hunch that KVV could become a bit hit with Saints fans.

Surely he’s bound to score more goals in Paisley in a Saints strip than Brophy.

Spoiler

Not hard given Brophy managed zero goals in Paisley for St Mirren.

Crazy that Brophy never scored in Paisley. No-one turned on him, no boo boy treatment from the West Bank. He tried… unlucky with injuries IMHO, but cannot fault his effort.

He was one of those gambles that really didn't pay off. Even Dargo and Wyness were less poor signings overall.

Got to wonder if he will ever make the grade with us.

He is on the right trajectory for now.

If he can establish himself as 1st choice this season he will be on the up for now - that's all we can ask.

Instant impact from the KVV signing as the strikers seem to have got the message. He's a shrewd cookie Robbo.

To be fair, Olusanya already has 4 goals in his 9 games this season (9 in 20 if you go back into last season). We'll do well if he maintains something close to that strike rate.

Fair point but the extra competition won't hurt

Not bad from a player most fans would have chased in his first season.

Toyosi may not be the best striker to have worn the stripes but he is a good lad and has improved massively.

We got KVV "for an absolute bargain" - hopefully means we've still got budget if we need to add to the squad in January.

Well done Keith and Jim.

Highlights how important Gillespie was in getting KVV.

"Knuckledustered" Gronigen and we got him for a snip.

He'll be a huge loss when he goes to the vile blue bigots.
