niketon
Div on the P&B FB suggesting Morgan has signed for Celtic. Anyone any clue how much? Seems like a waste if it's not breaching £500k (after clauses and all that) Is Morgan not going to Nottingham Forest?? Friend of a friend is pally with his agent and he's been told this. Might be bullshit as he also told me mcinnes was a shoo in for sevco

We'll have preferred to deal with Celtic (insert club shop picture here) as we stand more chance of getting players from them on loan in future. Also, bear in mind we have been attempting to stipulate that Morgan stays with us for the rest of this season. There is a sense that clubs down south aren't so keen for that to happen. In fairness, McInnes was a shoo-in for Sevco, in that he was their preferred manager. Not many folk expected him to take the sensible choice

Jordan Kilpatrick and Ross Stewart (forward) out on loan , Hilson released , McCart back to Celtic, Liam Henderson in on loan as part of the Morgan summer transfer deal , English holding midfielder in ex Crewe , and Rory Loy in ! Would be a brilliant bit of business but seems unlikely Celtic would want Henderson loaned out to the championship since he already spent a season with Hibs in this league. Wouldn't be much of a development for him, more likely they'd loan him out to someone in the Premiership. Celtic are hoping the inclusion of Henderson in the deal will swing it for them .

It takes a few viewings from all the angles to appreciate exactly how much he roasted Sevco's defence there. It was very, very skillful.
Kyle
St Mirren on the verge of signing Danny Mullen from Livi on loan, with a view to permanently in January... Would that not represent quite a coup considering Livi are well in the title race and Mullen is being tracked by teams in the English Championship. Are Livi fucked financially again? gav-ffc
Where did you hear that? The Sun. Strange dealings from livi not being able to wait 3 weeks. Tick tock.

It's novel, seeing the 'emergency' bit of 'emergency loan' apply to the lending club... Edit: I know this is just paper talk, but on what planet are we actually competing with Cardiff? Livingston must really want rid. Edited December 12, 2017 by Coventry Saint
glenburn bud
Always impressed with Mullen while playing against us for Livi. Would be a cracking signing if it comes off.
andylivi1
It’s definitely happening, He’s out of contract in the summer and St Mirren are the only club to offer money plus a sell on clause for him, Danny wants to leave and the club don’t want to hold him back. He’s also one of our highest earners and we are replacing him with a striker on loan. Good luck to the lad, he’s been an excellent servant to the club, at 22 he’s played well over 100 games for the club, it’s a good effort, he has never been a prolific striker in fact I’d say he’s more of a number 10, does a lot of the dirty work, chases the ball down and despite his size wins far more than he should in the air, he does like to throw himself to the ground quite a lot though which can become a bit frustrating, and he is quite a regular in the referees book for dissent but apart from that he’s a good signing for you guys, I wish him luck. Btw we are being run by a proper local business man who knows what he’s doing and has the club at heart, this is not a case of financial problems, this is a case of cashing in before we lose him for nothing and living within our means, something I have absolutely nothing against, Hoppy has said he wants players at the Club who want to be there and if he’s stated he wanted to leave then we he wouldn’t want to hold him back. Nope, from a Premiership club, we’ve been after him for the last couple of season, by all accounts it’s a decent enough replacement. Bring Back Paddy Flannery
Depends how badly they want Morgan , there are other offers. Celtic are hoping the inclusion of Henderson in the deal will swing it for them . Henderson would also have to agree to it.He's far too good for this level and could easily get a gig at Hibs or the like. Why would he happily go on loan to Championship St Mirren when he could get a better move?
