Buddiesaint
We tried for Van Veen in January with pretty much the same set of strikers we have now. Clearly Robinson and Co believe he can bring something to the team and it's not just a "best of a bad bunch" or no other options scenario. Gotta have faith. We've got a good team, just been unlucky with injuries and the euro games aren't something we're used to dealing with. I reckon it'll all come good soon enough

Some of those goals reminds me of the style of Frank “Elvis” Worthington. Is KVV a bit of a shagger too? I’ve a hunch that KVV could become a bit hit with Saints fans. Surely he’s bound to score more goals in Paisley in a Saints strip than Brophy. Spoiler Not hard given Brophy managed zero goals in Paisley for St Mirren.

pozbaird
Crazy that Brophy never scored in Paisley. No-one turned on him, no boo boy treatment from the West Bank. He tried… unlucky with injuries IMHO, but cannot fault his effort.

Even Dargo and Wyness were less poor signings overall.

If he can establish himself as 1st choice this season he will be on the up for now - that's all we can ask.
Billy Jean King
Instant impact from the KVV signing as the strikers seem to have got the message. He's a shrewd cookie Robbo.
Buttocks Brown
A shame we couldn't hold onto our leads today but I think that's a good result against an in-form team. Halts the run of defeats. Now a 2 week break in which to get KVV in amongst the squad and McMenamin + Kiltie closer to fitness.
Wilbur
Following 4 straight defeats, a draw away to an in form team is a bloody good result and a confidence booster. Onwards and upwards .

We'll do well if he maintains something close to that strike rate.

Toyosi may not be the best striker to have worn the stripes but he is a good lad and has improved massively.
saintmurn
We got KVV "for an absolute bargain" - hopefully means we've still got budget if we need to add to the squad in January.

FTOF
Highlights how important Gillespie was in getting KVV. "Knuckledustered" Gronigen and we got him for a snip. He'll be a huge loss when he goes to the vile blue bigots.

Great news. Thought Robbo cut a pretty frustrated figure in his recent interviews. Seems to have more of a spring in his step now after the KVV signing and point today.
