If this is our finished team we're fucked. Got a bad feeling about this.... heard we have just enough money in the tin for one more player and that will be a CB the player in question is young "quick on his feet" not the experienced leader at the back we so desperately crave.

Some of these players wouldn't look out of place in a League one side and that's concerning... probably our weakest team in over 20 years.1692296683488.thumb.jpg.0dc3e36b31278f3588f0198d12dc555f.jpg

Our team from our two seasons in the 3rd tier during the 90's would gub this.

Equal parts proud and bitter seeing Robbie Deas playing so well at Killy. Both Old Firm teams toppled already and their fans love him! I reckon he’ll end up at a higher level still.

Couldn't agree more, a class act which we should have, at the very least, budgeted to keep.

There’s no way we could have kept him without getting promoted. He’s too good for the championship.

You are probably right but I'm minded that we could have possibly kept him if we had projected a realistic push for promotion this season if we had used some of the Scottish Cup money to increase wages but more importantly had we used that money and signed at least three good calibre players to strengthen the team,

Anyway that horse has bolted and any real push for promotion seems unlikely so far, however we can achieve greatness by winning the Inverness Cup tomorrow night?????

On a btw, Is the Glasgow and Fife Cups still competed for?

At least we got three good years out of Deas. McCart we only got two from so I was pretty surprised we didn't lose him summer 2022. Not replacing him is looking to be really daft. Obviously we won't get another Deas level player but to think that Duffy and Delaney could step up and work alongside Devine seems, at least on the early evidence, to be very wishful thinking.
