We've seen it before with Hughes being harshly sacked even though it was clear to everyone he had to go. County had it with McIntyre IIRC as well.

Know your place, Highland upstarts.   We all know fine well that there’s people high up in the game who think Scotland stops at Perth. They never accepted the results of the vote and still don’t.

The don't give a shit. They don't watch any matches north of Aberdeen, they just want their pals to get nice cushy jobs. Scottish sports writing is beyond dire, as far as they are concerned Caley & County should just be happy they are allowed in the league, how dare they get shot of absolute failures like McIntyre & Dodds?

John Robertson (who I have dealings with through work) told me a story about Craig Levein, who seems one of the more semi-eloquent talking heads.   He wanted to come up and watch Banff play.   He was going to drive himself, but he had to phone Robbo to ask him what to do once he reached Perth.  This was relatively recently.

"Scot, we're bottom of the championship. We're planted. Looking into the Abyss. Something needs to change."

Scot : "No".

"But Scot, Sandy Cromarty is on protest and hasn't bought a season ticket"

Scot "Get Billy on zoom."

You're way off the reservation son

Charity begins at home, 1 win in 5 and 5 points out of a possible 15 for your team is more what you should be concerned about.

Not me and the Famous Caley, we'll be fine, don't you be worrying now.

Btw do you write the script for Oor Willie or maybe the Bash Street Kids because that's how childish your post sounds.

That's 2 journalists that I've seen so far on Twitter jumping to Dodds' defence. These c***s are part of the problem. When any manager gets sacked at any club.

Barley Chatterman on the Highland section news on Radio Scotland this pm and give him his due as he mentioned how the fans are also unhappy with John Robertson and Gardiner.

Good on you Barley boy but I'm afraid no more free teas and pies for you.

Bannerman is an outsider, and a massive Celtic fan, so he can probably say what he likes. He's not a standard report for The Caley, like Paul Chalk or Will Clark (one of said journalists who is backing Dodds).

To his dying day Dodds will trade on the fact that his record was exceptional, with his media pals backing that, and it was the fans who, unfairly, got him sacked for no reason, it's the nature of the fallen when confronted with the truth.

I very much doubt if he will venture back into football management and instead play on the Scottish Cup final as his moment in the Sun.

Radio punditry and the odd print media article will be his safe haven for him, his sacking may turn out to be a blessing for him as if he had stayed results would have got worse with a team that did not want to play for him.

Anyway we are rid and now we have to move on.

Again you have to question the honesty of print media journalists who we all know scan the forums and could see, for months, that ICT fans were not happy with Dodds and his football management, and yet ignored it and continued to spew out rosy good news articles on.

Dishonest Trumpism journalism and not representative of the majority fans feelings.

So you're both salaried Alan Savage employees?

They're probably thinking that if they write something negative about Dodds then Gardiner will ban them from the stadium. That's the kind of thing Gardiner would do.

Ibrox banned BBC Scotland for seven years.

And Ibrox floated an idea of charging print journalists for attending matches but it never got started. Pity it didn't as we would have probably seen more honest and unbiased reporting.

John Hughes will be getting touted for the job by John Hughes.

He does love talking himself up, usually on sportsound if he's a guest presenter for just about any job that comes up, he's getting very much into don't touch with a bargepole territory now though and the only one that doesn't see it is himself. But he knows the fun-de-mentals

Exactly this is why I laugh at people who crictize the pod guys for "kissing ass" if they start crictizing Gardiner and being too negative he's probably never gonna agree to an interview again and he'll probably make life hard for them in terms of speaking to players interacting with the club etc he just seems like that kind of individual.
