That would suggest another club was accepted as well as the three named, Couldn't be his own club as they have been accepted already so Dunbar? There was a meeting on 24/5 at Easter Road where the new clubs were admitted though - Dunbar haven't been announced (that I've seen)

Have a read at Tom Thorntons Twitter, you'll find confirmation of Dunbars acceptance in an earlier tweet.
FairWeatherFan
That's now 16 of the 32 current East Super & Premier league clubs committed to the EoS or about to vote on it in some way.
Truthteller
Can’t really blame the east region juniors for jumping cos it’s been so long since an east team won the National trophy that the only alternative to try and make an impression is through the beazer league and the money that gets thrown at it -

My nephew played semi pro in New Zealand and had to fly for most of their games. It's about whether it's a Scottish Football Association or a Central Belt Football Association. Burnie_man
I used to watch a few games in the Beazer Homes League in the late 80's early 90's, which was the Southern League. Promoted into the Conference from memory so probably tier 6. Good standard as well, so a nice comparison. heedthebaa
I know it’s a big decision and not to be taken lightly, but these undecided stragglers are fucking teargas. It’s harder work than trying to organise a lads night oot. Clubs have had long enough to get their arse in gear, this waiting on what others do is getting on my tit end. The deadline shouldn’t have been extended

There should be four relegation places in the premier for what it's worth as two get promoted from the north and south divisions. There's hope for Kirriemuir yet to be promoted rather than relegated if all the oranges turned into reds at the last minute. Unlikely but not impossible.

Doubt they would be doing it otherwise.

I think I'd enjoy that kind of thing. Plus, last time Hearts played a non-league side (admittedly one better than Cove) it took a terrible refereeing mistake to give them a 1-0 win at home.

I wonder if anyone else will consider from that 32 at this point. If you take the 16 expected to stay Junior, 6 are North of the Tay if i've remembered it right. Would any of the remaining 10 make the move so as to avoid being left out.
drs
Well it looks like the Wee Rose committee were right, derbys against Bathgate and Whitburn will certainly trump opportunities for progression.

There's probably a tipping point on this where most of the rest would quickly throw in the towel because they see the game's up even if they would still strongly prefer that it's not the case and it's probably quite close now. Will be interesting to see what the prospect of having no Penicuik and Newtongrange in addition to no Kelty, Bonnyrigg. Camelon, Hill of Beath and Musselburgh does to perceptions of more traditionally-minded Bo'ness and Lithgae members as they are probably the key to whether there is a quick resolution within the next couple of seasons.

Teams change - I believe Cove felt they were a bit short last season and tried to strengthen for 17-18 - their domination of the HFL testament to that.
