Next Year he may be in post before the end of June 2018 the way things are going. (assuming the clubs vote for him.) What a choice TJ or SR there would be a lot of spoilt papers or abstentions.
Pyramidic
Any info/updates from Sauchie Juniors? They appear to be the remaining club in the SJFA East Region Superleague yet to play their card (excluding clubs north of the Tay). Will they be doing an Arniston Rangers and appear from nowhere as an EOS applicant? NB: I still tend to think of Kennoway Star Hearts as a relegated club. Any news on them as well. Haven't seen anything publicly from either one. They've both been suggested as clubs that would be interested. Let's face it, that's basically everyone at this point.

I suppose the other question is why Linlithgow have arranged their meeting on 4th June - well after the 31st May deadline? Is it because of: Need to collect more information? Current indecision in making a commitment? Holidays? Tactics? Lobbying? Proper period of notice for members? Longer period of grace for TJ and the SJFA to come up with the goods? Or are they just trying to get other clubs to make their own decision and not just follow Linlithgow's lead? The last reason would indicate a very meritable approach in my opinion. Gimme
Or quite simply the meeting had been arranged for that date as it's prior to the EoS AGM and the extended application deadline of 31 May hadn't yet been announced.

Yeah, I was double checking to see when it was announced. They did so on the 21st May which seems to have been before everything blew up again with the latest batch of moves. Think they may have announced so close to the EoS AGM expecting things to have blown over and focus on what the future would be. Rather than have a vote on EoS 2018-19. They must have put in an application by now so as not to be caught short.

The info that has emerged from Bo'ness on this is that Bo'ness heard from Newtongrange that they were leaving when they arrived to play against them on Saturday. Given they are one of the few traditional big clubs left in the superleague south of the Tay, this led to a string of panic driven phonecalls between the committees of Bo'ness, Lithgae and Broxburn on Saturday afternoon, who agreed that the best thing to do was to move to the EoS and to hold the club meetings needed to ratify this. We'll see what unfolds basically. Edited May 28, 2018 by LongTimeLurker

Factually true. Theoretically could bring the meeting forward to say 6/6, but but 48 hours notification of the change would surely be unacceptable ? They may have made a 'subject to' application, but it is risky if the EoSL 'number of clubs -v- 2018/19 format' becomes an issue ? Even more so, if Bo'ness makes an application before the extended closing date on a "conditional basis" subject to Linlithgow the following week. On this subject, when are the SFA and WRJFA AGMs being held ? Also, any feedback from clubs on the suggested West/East' super-dooper' SJFA league ? Looking at when the announced the meeting and the date they arranged for the meeting, I don't believe the Linlithgow committee were intending to move to the EoS for 2018-19. Think the 4th June meeting was more likely to discuss what the future would like in 2019-20 the proposed Lowland Superleague/East Region/EoSFL. EDIT: They'd announced they were having the meeting before the East Region even had their chance to present their 2018-19 league format. cmontheloknow
I sense that debate will be more open in Belarus or North Korea than it will be at the SJFA meeting.

The tipping point had been reached for the BU's and the Rose to have to make the leap.
