They are south of the HL/LL dividing line, so no.

Yeah but they have a DD Postcode, so just be pragmatic eh. Maybe that could be an exception that the Dividing line is the Tay Bridge (with the exception of those that have a DD postcode: Newport, Tayport and Wormit)

Could also put a kink in it at Luncarty as well so that Luncarty go South, Tayport go North.

Tayport are a Fife team. Fife is below the line.

My expectation is, similar to what happened in the EoS situation, many late declarations will be made as clubs realise their local rivals etc are also making the move and don’t want to be left behind.

Contrary to what some people are saying think there's no harm extending an initial deadline like they did in the east, if it can help speed things along to a quicker resolution of this whole mess.

If it's over 20 of 63 already there's probably scope for a lot more than that when the lower division clubs start to realise what being left on the outside looking in could look like, if there is zero prospect of ever playing some of your upper division neighbours again in a competitive fixture. Lugar and Muirkirk with no Talbot, Cumnock and Glenafton, for example.

My money's on Lanarkshire to be the West Lothian in all of this. Nothing from there so far and lots of struggling clubs that have seen better days.

Ah OK, so a free for all with no definitive border?

Again you keep calling it a free for all. Who's actually doing that?

Somebody puts a job advert out every year, fairly low level set of qualifications required and little experience needed. The vast majority don't apply, because they aren't even looking, because they're happy where they are, and a wide variety of other reasons.

Now for those that actually apply and meet the requirments, does that mean you get handed the job? No. And the reason why they get rejected could be for a variety of reasons.

You keep jumping from no definitive border and offering up examples like HWU and WW choosing and being accepted into the WoS. As if you expect madness to ensue. And i'm here going "Why would the clubs apply there?" and "Why would the league accept them?"

The EoS had to commit to the SFA that they wouldn't extend beyond the deadline this season, so it's the 31st March.  I doubt the LL/EoS will extend the deadline for the WoS otherwise the SJFA will go radge again. They'll play it by the book.

So any forecasts on the type of rabbit TJ might try pull out the hat tonight?

How about TJ resigns and the West Region joins the Pyramid at Tier 6. No strings attached whatsoever - not even All In.

Word on the street.

4 West Lothian teams will be applying for the WOSFL and will be attempting to jump to tier six

Harthill, Fauldhouse, Whitburn, Armadale and Stoneyburn are the ones you can make a case for on that although the last three are more of a stretch. If it speeds things along on having a fully functioning pyramid then maybe the end justifies the means.

Probably don't need a definitive border because most folk have common sense. Girvan aren't gonna apply for the EoS league and Burntisland aren't gonna go to the WoS league. If there are a few clubs in Central Scotland like Dunipace or Faudlhouse or whoever who believe it might benefit them to play in the other league, and no one in the other league is against it, then there's no harm in going for it. There was no fixed line between the SoS and EoS or between the junior regions. This weird hypothetical idea you keep promoting that there'll suddenly be an avalanche of teams pouring from one league to another is mind boggling fantasist nonsense.

Perhaps not an avalanche, but even one team applying to the WoS, who could have applied to the EoS in the last 3 years, to gain an unfair advantage is , IMHO, wholly wrong.

The LL are obviously wise to this scenario anyway, as their statement mentions 'geographical integrity'.

Yeah I know, but thre is no pyramid league being merged here.

The way that the seeding worked in 2018-19 was 16th in LL, EoS by finish places, East Super League by finish, East Premier by finish, East South by finish, Duniapce and IHS.
They could priorities a pyramid league over Juniors.
