shull
League Cup over, may as well get this started. The start of what will be a difficult and exciting campaign. We can be promoted, of that I have no doubt. Jack will sort it. Very hard match to start with against a Team who will get lots of cheap free kicks due to the diving and cheating from Loy, Miller and Hippolyte. However, we will overcome St Mirren 1 Falkirk 0 Crowd 5287 PREMIERSHIP HERE WE COME -

We've done nothing against Falkirk since we got relegated and I can't see that shit run ending here.

Our best team will be a match or best most. He haw underneath especially up front
Shadwell Dog
Never easy at this venue but I'd be very disappointed if we came away with nothing based on current form. Hopefully we may have sibbalds future sorted out by then too.

glenburn bud
0-3 Falkirk as we start another season of scrambling about the bottom of the championship.
Harry Kinnear
This will be a very tough tight game. Despite the League Cup failings I still think St Mirren will have a decent season, look at us last season. I'm going 2-1 Bairns with Fash and Rory on the scoresheet.
ilostmyself
League cup isn't over for us, catch you next week after we've secured a place in the last 16. I'm going for a score draw in this one as neither team is capable of winning on the first day of the season Edited July 24, 2017 by ilostmyself
flyingscot
1. We have a hoaching record in opening games and starting seasons. 2. We've been completely shite all pre-season and in league cup. 3. We've done nothing of note against Falkirk in recent years. 3-0 Falkirk. Loy to score all 3. Stu
Bit confused at Falkirk fans saying it's always tough at our ground - don't think they've lost at our new stadium! Our record in the opening league game is horrendous. Haven't won one since 2006. The only other one this century was in 2004 - although on the plus side it was against Falkirk at Love Street. Would be good to end that run but after Saturday I'd take a point.

Stu
we have lost, that english midfielder from a years back scored late on (cant remember his name but it was 2009 season) You mean Andy Dorman (who was English but got capped for Wales)? That was the year before at Love Street.
