He really doesn't fit in to this team at all. McGlynn seems to want a bit more height and physicality which I suppose he brings but just doesn't have any impact in games at all. Our profligacy in front of goal is a worry I suppose but important to note that Morrison is one of our big danger men and he's been out most of the season.

I thought QP were pretty poor on the opening day but it seems like they're much improved. Was surprised to see them lose Ayr as i thought they'd be passing each other in the table before too long. Livi played in the exact way best suited to nullify our passing and it'll be interesting to see if other sides start to do the same and how we combat it. I suspect we'll go for the same team as Saturday but Morrisons pace could be a big asset on the big pitch. I think Yeats has played well in his sub appearances and is due a start before too long. 2-0 Bairns, going to miss the game unfortunately.

Deserved win for Livi there, they pressed us to the limit of what the ref allowed (not a complaint) and it snuffed out our attacking play so we ended up creating very little of note. Livi just seem designed to get the better of a team like us. The goal was a screamer but came from some slack play from Tait. We need to pick ourselves up and do the job against Queens Park next week, still 3 points ahead which is a much better position than we expected preseason.

Been said a few times but Livi were the best team we've faced so far, I thought they looked athletic and well drilled at TFS and there's no surprise they're the nearest challengers. I do wonder if they'll try and attack us a bit more seeing as they'll be at home. Right now I'd be happy enough with a draw to start a tough run of mostly away fixtures towards the end of the year. If we're still top with the same gap in the new year I'll be absolutely delighted. I'd be bringing in MacIver for this despite Oliver's excellent form, I just think we'll need that out ball that nobody else gives us.

Anyone know why that wasn't a pass back? Ref maybe saw it as an interception that made it's way to the keeper?

Pretty easy stuff, Morton threatened a couple of times but mostly look like they're trying to stop us and hope for the best on the break. Get an early goal and take Tait off to save him from a possible yellow.

Delighted to see Morrison back on the bench and glad we didn't throw MacIver in from the start. Hopefully let both have 20 minutes or so to get the sharpness back.
