DrewDon
I didn’t think it was a great episode, felt a bit muddled, but I did enjoy the group text stuff. I was expecting a ‘Larry David left the chat’ message during the bit in the credits, or Larry hearting a message that Stu had died or something.
scottsdad
The latest episode was really poor. What happened to Steve Buscemi? He has aged 100 years.

I loved it, feel guilty about dissing Richard Lewis now. Buscemi was obviously playing a sick old guy who might need a colestemy bag.
scottsdad
Brilliant. A couple of times this season they have referred to the Seinfeld finale, and they are echoing it here.
scottsdad
Glad Lewis was in the finale. "You are Richard's friend?" " Yes" "And you don't believe anyone could love him? " No, of course not. "
Latino Lover
Was a decent enough finale. The series probably peaked with the car wash c**t finale in series 4 but still stayed to a good standard, with other highlights. Gone back to the start now as I’m listening to the podcast with Jeff and susie going through the early episodes.

Larry vs Michael J Fox was my favourite.

Theroadlesstravelled
JB Smoove becoming a main character was a huge indication of the decline in quality. His funnies as being a 60 year old sexual deviant were tiresome. But as like a lot of things the coup de grace came for Curb Your Enthusiasm after it went woke.

Marty starts listing Cheryl's qualities - "adorable, good cook, fun to be with, she has a terrific body..." - and so Jeff interjects with "it used to be amazing". Marty just looks at him and earnestly responds "I remember". It shouldn't be that funny but gets me every time. 34:20 Edited June 11 by TheScarf
