HibeeJibee
Part of the 1938 Empire Exhibition buildings in Bellahouston Park, presumably? Anyway, correct - first the Albion Stadium: White City Stadium: Did either even host junior football or similar? Anyway, another puzzler: Edited September 4, 2017 by HibeeJibee
Bishop Briggs
^ Many thanks for posting your superb photos. I thought that one would be a speedway track and the other a greyhound stadium.

killiejim
The more I look at this the more I think it's not football related. Looks like rugby players in the background. Spectators don't look like your typical football hooligans of the period either. Could they be anti-apartheid demonstrators at a South African rugby tour match around late 60's early 70's? If so a borders or Edinburgh rugby ground?
killiejim
Was on the right track but much further north. Linksfield Park, Aberdeen. Later to become the Chris Donald Stadium. Used to park outside there every time I was at Pittodrie. Those houses are on the road leading up to King Street. The rugby type strips was the big clue.

killiejim
Easy peasy. Top one is Clifton hill. Bottom one is Bathgate Park (?) Off New Street, Edinburgh. Was on here not long ago. Name of team Edinburgh Emmett.
