Bray Wanderers have won one game in their last 8.

I would expect the team they managed to beat are still better than Elgin ! They would still have to be strong favourites IMO. I'd like to have watched this match.

Didn't really care about progressing in this cup but it's given us a couple of confidence boosters already. Impressive win today, have we ever beaten top flight opposition before?

100% record in Europe must be nice?

You beat Ayr Utd in the Scottish Cup 1966-67, when they were a top division club. Unless you've done it again since joining the Scottish League that does look like the only occasion.

For some reason I thought Fraserburgh beating Dundee was the only time a non-league club had beaten a top flight team. Obviously not true given your extensive knowledge. Have there been many more then?

I don't want to put a dampener on Elgin's win, but Bray suffered financial meltdown a couple of months ago and players were told to find new clubs. They were flying prior to this, but are really struggling now, so today's win comes as no surprise to me, and was part of a Crusaders, Linfield and Elgin £10 treble, although Crusaders made me sweat for my dosh (and were lucky by all accounts).

That makes sense. I had it in my head when thinking about that question earlier that we'd beaten a top flight club on one of those cup runs in the 60s. Just us and the Broch post war is close to what I was thinking.
