Are you 100% sure this is east end park? A few details seem off, including the existence of the street in the background, aerial shot below shows old main stand was fairly central compared to that pic for example and  shows the housing on halbeath road before any signs of cover on the west terrace

According to Google there's an Ally Donaldson on Facebook who comes from Loanhead originally and now lives in Carnoustie. Presume it's the old Dundee player.
