1320Lichtie
So what invisible world class players do we have then? Albania have guys at Napoli and Lazio. We are not even a second tier side anymore. Not one player that would make England’s bench. The last time we qualified for a tournament we had some very handy players that would walk into their side. You could say the same about us... we have players at Liverpool and Manchester United afterall... I think we've got a lot of good players. We really struggle in some positions (upfront, centre half and right back) but the overall quality of player is perfectly fine and right up there if not better along side all of the teams mentioned there. D.A.F.C
In typical Scotland style we have one great left back. The Man United player is a bit part youth player. Wales have some good young players coming through and a couple of world class players. This is where we should be.
eez-eh
Just now, D.A.F.C said: They are better because they are doing better than us. How many so called second rate sides have beaten us? We are shite. So back in 2015/16, Danny Simpson and Christian Fuchs were better players than César Azpilicueta and Jan Vertonghen because their side did better? And why is that where we should be, how many other small countries have what Wales do just now? The players are perfectly fine. We've come close to qualifying on many occasions, we are only a small country, we need a good manager to get that wee bit extra out of us.
MarkoRaj
What is it Wales do to actually get these world class players? Have a shite domestic league and watch all their youngsters be developed at English sides?

Andy Robertson wouldn’t even get on the England bench? Or Ryan Fraser on current form? You’re either at it or just deranged.

Bairnardo
HahahahahahaDidnt think so. Ryan Fraser is a very good player on very good form in the EPL. Pretty much the standard required surely?By all means explain to us why he would not be qualified for a shout to their team ?

Because 1 foreign manager failed, we should never do it again? Particularly so when there's an absolute dearth of quality Scottish or Scotland based candidates at the moment. eez-eh
... yet players who were actually called up include the aforementioned Mount and Maddison plus Jason Sancho, with less recent call-ups including Demarai Gray and Lewis Cook.
