Getting the goal just before half time was vital. Second half, the Airdrie keeper made a couple of good saves, Moore had one flagged for offside, I think it was crossing the line anyway and he didn't need to touch it but in the end it didn't matter, I want to see Shanklands goal again, I don't know how he managed to get a shot away. Airdrie hit the inside of the post late on that kept any celebrations on ice till the very end. Who is the CIA wannabe at Airdrie with the suit and trenchcoat who kept staring up the back of the stand while talking in to his sleeve ? like he was trying to halt an assassination ? dextermorgan Posted April 7, 2018 Share Posted April 7, 2018 Difference between the sides was obvious before a ball was kicked. Ayr like Raith have proven goal scorers up front in numbers. Airdrie had Carrick and a young guy learning his trade. We must be looking to bring strikers in next season and I'm not talking about just Duffy and Carrick.
