Looking at highlights confirms my opinion at time that Lochee were very fortunate to finish with 11 on the park

Very well put together video, even the Matt Johnson ‘learn to fly” music worked.
Decent crowd there too. But Talbot had better start target practice, jeeze they couldn’t hit a barn door in that first half.

Looks very one sided going by those highlights. Did Lochee sit in and try and hold on to their lead from last week?

Yeah they sat deep, frustrated and looked for the counter. first leg they broke late and scored in 93rd minute. If it wasn’t for their goalkeeper would have been a larger score line imo.

Summer football anyone? Talbot looked to proficient for Lochee...in all areas. It did look like Lochee had a good shout for a penalty with the trip on the edge of the box or at least a freekick! Nonetheless Talbot were too good. Lochee looked like a pale imitation of the team that played at Bellsdale 5 weeks ago...where they were more technically gifted than Beith, quick on the break while being solid in defence, none of that was evident yesterday!

This guy will always look to bring Talbot down and has a severe case of the green eyed monster. The Talbot support yesterday was tremendous, both in numbers and getting behind the team, any club would love even some of that. Another Bankie posted a low over all attendance, seems Talbot are not appreciated much at Holm Park these days. We were commenting yesterday how the away support, especially in big games, seems better, more vocal, more together than when at home. It was a tremendous old school Junior cup day out and judging by the reaction of the black and gold hoards, even though this will be eight finals in 12 years, they never get tired of it.

Lochee not only sat in they wasted time bullyed and generally spoiled what should have been a spectacle. Well done to Talbot for at least trying to entertain. AWE RA BEST IN FINAL
