The SPFL Angus League ££1 2018-19

Montrose only need a point. Can Arbroath avoid scraping their way up and thereby guarantee that practically all the consolidated wealth of League 1 fans next season finds its way into sales of agricultural equipment? The maths is beyond me but could it be 24 Angus derbies... plus the rest turning up for a taste of rich loam, lentil soup and bridies? Having banked the riches of the championship this year, Brechin's parachute is currently looking pretty floaty?

Taste the loam, non-Angus brother

On a serious note, I'd love an all-Angus League 1 next season. P&B would be a right laugh and they're cracking away days, apart from Brechin.

We’re in a very nice win/win position. Going up would be a great achievement for the club but would also love all 4 angus teams in 1 league! Derby every 2 games! [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]

Definitely in a good position either way.

However we will probably have a pretty good team again and if it’s an all PT League we will definitely be aiming to win the division and they do say form goes out the window in derby games...

Although we have done not too badly in ours this season [emoji6]

Arbroath 4-0 Montrose
Forfar 0-5 Arbroath
Arbroath 2-1 Forfar
Forfar 0-1 Arbroath
Arbroath 2-0 Forfar

Played 5
Won 5
14 goals for
1 against

If we could repeat that next season it really would be something

You'd surely be looking to win more than 5 derby games with 4 angus teams in the league?

If Stenny come up, that would give us the Ochilview soup as well.

Forfar need to sort themselves out with the Bridies - I've still never seen them last until half time. Do they have the world's tiniest Bridie storage unit?

If it does end up being a 4-Angus team league. They annual "Angus player maelstrom" could be the strongest we've seen yet.

Yes Gordon. In fact they are so tiny they are impossible to locate in the storage unit we use a magnifying glass but it still slows the replenishment of the stall down leading to disappointment.
