shawfield shed boy
Think Gow still in training. Assume DL/AM taking their time on his fitness as no doubt not a lot of wage money left in bank/If any to bring him in.. ??!

clyde_darren
Serge Atakayi one of them I’m pretty sure that boy’s highly rated by rangers and he’s a forward/winger exactly what we need right now.
maxruby
David Layne looking for a club. With his past, supporters of other teams would be apoplectic. But hey! Like the previous posts it’s just something I’ve heard. The old rumour mill! A fantastic edifice despite being built entirely on sand.

FREDDYFRY
Much as I’d be disappointed if we don’t add to what is missing from the starting 11 (don’t want to waste a wage on just a squad player now) it wouldn’t surprise me one bit if we didn’t. If not I assume Lennon is trying to let the 200 club etc build up and perhaps strengthen in January for the run in. I do think we need a couple of key people in but if we don’t have cash that would improve then fair enough. I think Saturday might have shown us that we are a bit short to be title winners. A team looking to go on to win leagues would have, despite not really turning up might have, with just that little bit more about could have came away , although not deserved, a valuable point. Very early days and fingers crossed, still unbelievable turn around in less than a year by Lennon and Moore.

Clydeontheup
Good to see Tom Lang back training . Can’t see where he would get a start currently, but long season ahead and will be a vital part of the squad.

Not disappointed if it has, but would highly doubt its there waiting.
FREDDYFRY
Yea agreed, pretty sure the 200 club has proped up the Boyle and Cogill signings. As I said I suspect it will be a January budget rather than for now. Edited August 22, 2018 by FREDDYFRY
haufdaft
Good source we are signing no one else Disappointed if this is the case.We all hope that Goodwillie doesn't get injured or suspended as we don't have any other strikers of any quality. However, if the money is not there, we can't complain.

the bigger picture
4 hours ago, You Only Live Twice said: Finally! It must be in anticipation of crowd management due to our impending return to the top flight https://www.clydefc.co.uk/news/2018/08/22/5907/#.W35AmaQo_YU Innovative but don't see how this will speed up entry except for those who can/wish to use a credit card: those who do not possess the dreaded plastic, or do not wish to use it for such trivia having to first Q at a window then enter via a turnstile will surely increase the entry time? As for matchday savings, you still need the same number of turnstile operators unless they will now be volunteers: you now have to have vouchers printed for those who don't use card, which you didn't have before; it also looks as if the usual methods will still be employed for away fans which may encourage some supporters without colours to enter via that route if the Q at the window is taking too long. Innovative as I said, just don't see any difference being made and you are now at the mercy of an internet connection.

cfcuk
Ah, the folly of youth, the infallible computer/superhighway.... I remember when we were told plastic straws were the way forward You don't see it any quicker? No need for change to be given 14 pound most people arrive with 15 or most likely 20 or they hand over a tenner and four coins all of which need to be counted in and out Vast majority of people in shops pay contactless and you can buy a ticket if you like. Why not see how it goes first I'm sure Saturday there will be some hiccups but on the whole think it's a good idea also saves handling cash for vast majority of punters
