WeAreElgin
Have we loaned a midfielder in the last 10 years that hasn't been miniscule? [emoji51]
Ludo*1
How's Gourlay getting on? Any chance he can break through with us next season?

Decent enough goalie, but I think his kicking is poor. I preferred our other keeper McHale, who's out on loan in England.
shawfield shed boy
20 odd o us comin up next sat.501pm train to Inverness would be preferred Google maps say 18min walk. Can it be done less or if anyone has a local taxi number that would be ideal[emoji106]

Obviously if there is a bit of injury time you'll be risking it. Don't know what taxis are best cause I never book one but there will be plenty parked up on the main street in town if you're struggling.

Even walking to high st and getting a taxi will be tight. What time is the train from inv? Why not just drown your sorrows in elgin for an other hour?
Muzza81
You won’t make that train without a strategically planned taxi.
Karpaty Lviv
There’s also the matter of nipping into Tesco for a cargo. From memory when I walked it, it was a good 15 minutes at least. Probably best waiting an hour if you could.
Am Muilleach
I see Declan Byrne scored again last night for Rovers. Well done young man. Remind me why we never gave him a game (until 10 minutes to go) oh yes - we're overloaded with striking talent!
WeAreElgin
We've signed Kyle Willis from.. Pontefract Collieries?Who?
WeAreElgin
And Kerr Hay has left the club. What a bloody waste. Massive rebuild needed in the summer.
afca32
I'd be surprised if we've ever had so many players come and go in one season. Most that have left have been pretty meh but it begs the question why they were all brought in in the first place.
mo83
How has Kane Hester been for you lot?
Thom & Gerry
Hay hasn’t been good enough imo. Impact sub at best. Not sure about Hester’s fitness but he is struggling in a struggling team.
Auld Git
KH should of got more game time imo, thought he might got better with games.
Auld Git
Good day for( liability)mchardy, 2 assists for Stirling. Needless free kicks to give away and as usual can’t defend incoming ball.Never mind same next season Same defence 🤬
Super Elgin City
Where do Elgin go from here? 5 defeats in a row after the good win against Clyde at BB. Simply not good enough. End of the season will be yet another rebuild. It's like Groundhog day.
Thom & Gerry
Most teams in the league will be in the same position. If we are to improve it needs a rebuild but obviously that depends on attracting better players. So far we have re signed our defensive players! also think we will miss JP’s influence both on and off the field more than appreciated by most. Feeling pretty pessimistic at the moment and hoping we will not be relying on Albion or Berwick being so poor next year.
Super Elgin City
Im feeling very similar to that aswell. JP has been a good player for us. Think his legs are starting to go now but as you say his influence off the park will be badly missed I think. I think this season proved how big a player Thomas Reilly was for us. I think he was very much under rated by our support. His partnership with Soapy was brilliant for a couple of seasons. For next season we need to stop conceding so many avoidable goals. The amount we have given away this season has been criminal
