Really need to be looking to get 3 points from this. A very decent start to the season but we look a bit short on goals so hopefully we can get that sorted on Saturday. Not sure on formation/ starting 11 after that ridiculous red card will rule out Dolzanski but we have plenty options so I’m optimistic for a win. 3-1

Really not sure what the starting 11 will be - Saturday was a complete surprise given how we had set up pre season/cup. Soapy did a pretty decent job in defence but I’d be quite surprised if that is a permanent thing given his ability. If we can put in another solid performance and get at least a point it will be a great start to the season. Sure Stirling will be looking for 3 points in their 1st home game but I’m more optimistic of us picking up points away from home that I have been for years!

Very good result to start the season. Think enjoyment turned into relief after that 15 minute spell in the second half - it was very pleasing to see us try and play out of that bad spell rather than sit back and hope we could hold on. Rather surprising line up I thought but everyone put in a good performance and it shows that we have quite a few options to change the team around. I think we deserved it over 90 mins and were top of the league - only 35 more games to stay there!!

It’s pay at the gate. £16 + £2 if you want a seat in the stand. Cash definitely- not sure about card payment at the turnstiles tbh. You can buy a ticket on fanbase in advance(fanbase club.com) that they scan off your phone.

I think that is the same for most people but normally we are hoping for 1 of 2/3 signings to be decent. We already know Gallagher and Golding are good so we are better off than usual. On top of that most of the signings look like a minimum of decent squad players - we’ve been lacking options most seasons.

What a signing! Serious question - are we being bankrolled a little by someone in the background? The investment in the squad has been remarkable by Elgin’s standards!

I thought we were ok today tbh. 5-0 sounds like an absolute scudding but we competed well for at least 60 mins of the match. All the goals came from getting the ball out wide but I see that as a bit of a positive - hibs at least never strolled though the middle and we won’t be playing full time SPL players every week so we won’t be forced to be so central in L2 very often.
