None of this looks good. I worry we're heading into league 1 oblivion. Heard the first GTF Mathie on Saturday and that's going to grow if the car crash trundles on much longer

Yes, he played with Hamilton Accies last season and was one of their bright sparks in a god awful team. Prior to him being picked up by Raith I had just presumed he’d returned to Ireland.

I’d listen to that. Not all week But definitely on repeat from 4.50 till I pass out on a Saturday. Wake up, listen to James all day Sunday and then Monday feels like a break. Loser wins.

ayrunitedfw
Apathy is a lot worse than negativity. Going to home games are just a complete chore atm and generally a pretty unpleasant experience. Still enjoy the away games bar the 90 minutes between 3pm and 4:45pm.

The HUB now at home games is the only thing which makes going to home games appealing

I just hate being in the SRE when we’re shooting into the Railway End. I like going and getting my dose of construction porn but aye I can’t say I’ve actually enjoyed any home games this season. I wish Bullen could turn it round but for me the biggest issue is our squad are so low on confidence right now and I think he thinks it’s a character issue. He’s not displaying anything by way of tactics and he’s doing nothing to shield the players from the pressure we’re under. At the end of the day I think a lot of it comes down to experience but I also don’t think he really knows how he wants us to play. Or rather he does, but he doesn’t know how to implement it. He’ll leave Ayr being one of our most successful managers (in the last few decades) purely based off of one Mark McKenzie goal but I don’t think anyone could honestly say he’s been a better manager than Brian Reid? I think as you say we need someone who’s more of a manager than a coach. What we call the job doesn’t really matter to me but since Ian McCall we have had the four least inspiring guys in the hot seat. I can’t ever imagine Bullen getting a reaction out of many players or knowing how to lift them. I think that’s the biggest thing a new man could bring right now. This group are capable of more but they are entirely rudderless.

You might have posted since Saturday but I’ve missed it and last I heard you were off to wind up ‘big’ dunc. Been wondering how he is? Heard much from the hospital?

In all seriousness just been too scunnered to post. Just feel like I’m constantly saying the same thing and nothing changes.
