Marshmallo
Quite the meltdown from Kelty on Twitter over the last few days. Incredible to see how much good will they've managed to burn through after being the pyramid pioneers. -

Take it you know how a football club and business works? It's actually a fair shout. Clubs with sugar daddies like Kelty and Ross County will never go bust as the debt is written off. All bills are paid. Clubs with known idiots with too much money in charge like Gretna and Rangers, do.

Take it you know how a football club and business works? A business will go bust if it doesn't have enough cash coming in to meet its financial commitments e.g. players and management with contracts of employment. This all works fine while someone is bankrolling the club.

Then the biils aren't paid, and it becomes a debt. Don't know enough about either Ross County or Kelty specific circumstances, but they are obviously being supported financially by an individual(s) as the money they spend , or are planning to spend, will be way in excess of the cash they take in the door from day to day operations - same as Gretna were.

Same as Man City same as Man U same as Chelsea same as pretty much every other team that’s trying to move forward whichever way they can , it’s not our fault if others supporters teams are stuck in the dark ages and happy to plod along nothing wrong with wanting to progress , just saying

Connor7
Just seen that Darren O’Dea has signed for East Kilbride. Going to be a very competitive league next season, and the winners of it have a very good chance of going up with Cove not there.

What a brain dead comparison.Barry still using the old chequebook management style he learned at Ibrox and used at Clyde. Didn’t end well in either case.

They reign spending in and make budget cuts and drop down to their natural level. Ross County wouldn't be in the Premiership without McGregor funding them personally (well with Global Energy's money). They own their stadium, it's all paid for. The upkeep of it would obviously still be a bill to pay but then that would mean the player budget would be cut accordingly. Therefore they would drop down to the Championship/League one naturally. Same with Kelty I'd presume. If they're owner/chairman is paying the wages out his own pocket with no payment expected in return then good luck to them. If and when the guy leaves the club, they cut back.

All will benefit us going forward regardless of 1st team investment atm.

Hows it brain dead if all being bankrolled by some sugar daddy ?? All the same but with obvious major financial differences but would all end the same if backers pull out , trying to tell me the 40000 crowd Man City get would pay the wages ?? The 35000 Chelsea get would pay the wages ?? Na didn’t think so , obvious your another Barry hater and probably have your reasons but we still giving him a chance here and will see what the new season brings Mon Kelty

I’m sure the banks would give them plenty of slack given the huge sums of cash these clubs turnover and the massive value of their assets. That situation is nowhere near the same ballpark as Kelty chucking hundreds of pounds a week at guys from lower Scottish championship or league one. If your backers walk away it will all go tits up pretty quick and there won’t be a host of clubs lining up to put in mega bids for your players. If you honestly cannot see how ridiculous it is drawing parallels with some of the richest clubs in the world then quite frankly you’re an idiot. -
leomessi1984
Still expecting a GK to be announced at some point also. Unless Christie ends up staying but sounds a done deal with Hamilton.
