Dundee Hibernian
I felt the long throws would have been more effective had Frederic Frans managed to get on the receiving end of them.
dundeeunited83
Also safranko is a definite upgrade on the strikers we had, his touch and link up play is very very good also his work rate is excellent very impressed so far with him
Zetterlund
Didn't Jason de Vos have a mean long throw on him? Although I seem to recall he could only manage one a season or it put his back out.
skinny arab
Ryan McGowan was the last player with a decent throw although we didnt always use it for some reason.
Big Shedboy
Has been a frustration of mine that we couldn't at least find out who could throw it longest. Would have been an option and better than the shite efforts of the last few seasons

It’s a dangerous tactic than Livingstone deployed well last season. Can’t remember the last time we had someone capable of launching it like that. Yip. They caused chaos in the Thistle box. With a bit more luck and break of the ball we could have scored a few off tbe back of them. Will be a really useful tool this season methinks.

Here’s my response to Tam’s self indulgent claptrap. You wonder why your doubters doubt. But I believe they should. As contrary to your own belief, You’re sadly not that good. Frustration can be understood, And a sense of eternal shame. Sitting watching in the stand, While wee Robbo still gets a game. Losing of course, is ever painful, As is the ire that failure induces In loyal fans who’re sick and tired, Of hearing the same old excuses. Lastly to say that, one thing is clear, And to me is apparent and stark Rather than posting utter shite Do your talking on the park.

skinny arab
St Mirren looking to offload Cammy Smith, perhaps try a swap deal with Keatings since he's played for Stubbs before.

Would rather we went all out for Swanson. If he would relocate for County surely he would for us? Eta not saying i wouldnt take Cammy Smith though. Good player. He's not wanted so I'd say there's every chance. I suppose the question is whether you guys could afford to pay a substantial chunk of his wages and whether he'd be interested in going to Alloa. United won't be hard to deal with.
dregs 83
St Mirren looking to offload Cammy Smith, perhaps try a swap deal with Keatings since he's played for Stubbs before. That would seem to make sense, which means there’s no chance of it happening.

A swap deal involving two unwanted players makes no sense whatsoever. United would, I'm sure, be happy to let Keatings walk away for free. There's no value in a makeweight you could get for nothing.
