Some fans on Twitter seemed to be a bit surprised he was released (according to one, he got "bags of goals"), and, as said, he was their top scorer last season; f**k knows how many goals he got though, or what the standard of opposition's like. That said, it has potential to be a great signing. ETA: He got 10 league goals last season - 14th-highest in the division, which is the north section of the third tier of U-23 football.
