parsforlife
I have severe questions over how hospitable that English clubs have been to visiting clubs. Hey Jude played for Man City fans and last week it seemed like after FT Aston villla gave the announcers mike to Norwich(it looks like Brighton might have done the same) There’s a big difference to bring respectful after giving your all to try and stop it allowing the champions to enjoy their win to giving them freedom to treat it like they’ve won it on their own ground. For most having another side celebrating a title win in your territory is a poor experience, these clubs seem to embrace it.
Guest DAVIDB69
Do they normally do this sort of presentation for champions at an away ground. I assume it’s a FA man on the PA surely can’t be the local Brighton man

Are you expecting them to force City, and all the fans, to drive back to Manchester before presenting them a trophy?

parsforlife
He’s a centre mid. That is a mature position. You don’t see many teenagers playing thay position. Let alone for one of the top teams in the world. He’s played more than he probably could have expected to. It’s more mature than goalscoring striker and winger. But is way behind the positions mentioned. Just because it isn’t the first position you’d play a youngster doesn’t mean it’s a mature position. He’s done well there is no doubt but the role he’s played isn’t ‘mature’

Cerberus
A big deal being made of today's Man Utd's front 6 all being academy graduates only for them to get horsed off Cardiff. Delicious.

Jacksgranda
@Rab B Nesbit Enjoy your 43 Point Gap Trophy, Rab The 2 points you dropped at Goodison - the only points you dropped in your last 16 games - cost you the title. And here's an emoji, just for you The celebrations after City lost to Newcastle seem a bit premature, now...
parsforlife
Why not? The home fans aren't barricaded in the ground and forced to watch it. They aren’t. But just because you don’t have to watch it shouldn’t make you happy to know your club actively encourage the celebrations of a side you were out to stop.

United were daft enough to give him a 3 year deal with a £7.5 million annual salary. Molde got £6 million compensation too. If Woodward had held his nerve and waited until the end of the season, he could punted him for nothing. With Mike Phelans's new deal, that's another £30-40 million wasted - in addition to the huge pay-offs for Mourinho and his staff!

8MileBU
What is this mewing bullshit over Bruno? Fair enough he's retiring, he got his round of applause when he went off. Man City players giving him a guard of honour and wearing cloth g with his face emblazoned across it?! f**k that. The great reception he received was in fact for his missus. Tidy.
Honest_Man#1
Liverpool are starting to look like they’ll never get their hands on The Barclays. It’s all getting a bit ‘Hibs with the Scottish Cup’ now. They’ll try to pretend that they care more about the CL, but everyone knows deep down they’d swap it in a heartbeat for the The Barclays title they’ve never had. Delightful.
