More likely to be Madianga on one side with Nabi on the other. Madianga has been very effective playing wide, but not sure how Nabi will be. It's certainly a narrow formation, but not quite diamond midfield narrow.

Cheers. We've looked better going forward this season purely due to wingers being willing to take folk on and full backs getting forward, if it ends up 2v1 against your full back we could have plenty of joy.

Never really works out like that though, and we generally look poor when outnumbered in the centre.

Looks like Darren O'Dea has played his last game for us though as we've elected to put Dan Jefferies on the bench ahead of him after stripping him of the captaincy. Wonder if we'll be able to offload him before the deadline.

Obvious to most early last season that he was no longer cutting it at this level.  Will not be easy or cheap to offload him.

Murray Davidson off injured. We've now a CM pairing of Craig and Alston.

Congratulations on your victory Dundee.

Is he ever not injured? You lot usually cope without him.

No. We won't cope, Alstons an utter passenger, totally headless when defending

THat was a great half of football. Dundee dominating possession at times as many of us predicted if McGowan and kamara started, but Saints have had a couple of spells on top, esp. just before HT, and the far clearer chances I thought.

Kamara just strolls thru games, and after Murray’s injury (and even before at times) we looked like we were standing watching them at times.

but Tommy pushed our midfield higher up and we’ve done better since, with Liam Craig getting a grip of the midfield.

macmillan should have scored and Kennedy missed a sitter when thru 1 on 1 took a bad first touch and shit wide.

Clark has also had to make a few good saves.

Macmillan hasn’t done a lot wrong but as we’re playing 1 up 1 off I’d like to see Scougall in there getting a hold of things and linking up with Watt more.

Yeah enjoyable half, a decent manager would have Dundee dominating us completely, as it is they're doing nothing with the ball except handing us chances to break. Have to assume they'll be more dominant after the break.

Wish McMillan would push onto Meekings, he's not actually stopping Kamara anyway so I'd rather he hunted the weak link when he gets the chance.

In non footballing matters, Moussa just handed the ball he was training with to a young lad in the stand. Much to the young lad's delight who's run away with it.

Bobby Geddes has since come out and asked where his ball is, for Moussa to point into the crowd and shrug. Some boy.
