What a fantastic game to watch.

Pennies were excellent against a class Sandies team. Both teams well up for it.

Lots of drama with lots of goals, chances galore, dodgy ref, shite pitch and both sidelines giving each other pelters. Loved it lol

Give Sandies credit to come back at the death of the 90 minutes. I think they put that much into clawing their way back during the 90 minutes they were dead on their feet in extra time.

Anyway, well played both sides. A great game to watch.

I must agree. I felt we put a lot into getting something from the game that we ran out of legs in extra time. To be honest i thought Pennies were toiling physically after putting so much into the first half and there was a point where we had a good 20min spell where i felt they had nothing left. I was wrong. 1 or 2 guys from them were absolute stand outs. Number 14 up top was very good but the number 10 was outstanding. All over the park for the whole 120mins.  I would be surprised if that boy stays amatuer for long. Massive talent

Aye. Shaun was excellent. I only really watch the ‘big’ games but that was far and away his best game. Won nearly everything in the air and bossed the game. His goal in extra time was class.

Sandies also have some great players, especially going forward. No 10 going off injured was a big loss as he was brilliant first half, caused a lot of problems.  In saying that the guy that came on and scored the 2-2 equaliser was  also class.

I also thought after you equalising so late that the game was yours but Pennies were excellent in extra time and you guys had no more left.

Good game lads.

The lad Smith is an excellent player and been standout Pennies player anytime I have seen them. Had a feeling Pennies would have too much for Sandys even through there. They have the experience in there ranks to deal with that environment and they also have the quality.

They probly go into Mondays draw as favourites with the 2 CSAFL teams still in it ( Steins & Fallin ) just behind them.

Some comeback from Fallin from 2 down with 10 mins to go at Stenny, they will also fancy there chances after losing out in the final last year.

Got a feeling Callander might make it to the final. An improving side every year and you would have to say they’re on the easier side of the draw. Don’t think they’ll win it. Think that’ll come from the other side of the draw.

They seem to have a lot of younger players now compared to last season, where did they all come from? They are on a good run of form over the last few months (since they changed managers I think?).

Wouldn't be a shock at all if they beat Cambusbarron.

Good to see the likes of Cambusbarron , Steins & Doune back in the mix all Clubs with good history in the East. Pennies v Fallin the tie of the round and with both teams going close last season they will both be determined to make the Semi's again.

Both teams going well again this year and Pennies may just have the slight advantage after there head to heads last season. All the pressure on Pennies though as they need a major trophy, alot of noise about a team thats not really came close to 1 yet, they have some very good players but have they got that mentality to win a big 1??

Close to call this game, sure it will be a proper cup tie with a large crowd there to watch it.

I’m not sure about new players. There manager left to go to steins though after the season had started . I heard they were struggling a little bit pre season but that was obviously just rumour. They’ve been about a few years now and seem a very well run club. Don’t see them taking many doings in the Cali so they seem a pretty solid outfit. Can’t be the easiest to get players to travel to Callander when there’s so many teams in the Stirling area.
