RiG
Another one of these.... 'P & B House' (Why? ) is looking at getting Broadband - ideally a minimum of a 1 Mb line with no download limits preferabely (or a very high one!). Our line supports up to 2Mb which is good. I've done a wee search on this site -> Here And these were the results -> Here A couple of deals look good - the 2 Meg Touch n Surf looks like a decent shout but has anyone had any experience with this company or indeed any of the other ones listed? Cheers
Mad Cyril
I've with Telewest, never had any problems with it since I got it installed several years ago. Recently been upgraded to 4Mb at the same price which is £25/month if you take their TV/phone packages. If I could I would rather stay on a lower speed for less money but £25 isn't too bad. No download caps with it. They recently merged (I think) with NTL so they aren't going to disappear any time soon.
RiG
Hmmm, does sound good. I maybe should have added that we'd be looking for something around £20 p/m. Does seem a decent deal though!
RiG
Quick check on Touch n Surf reveleaed that they lease or do something regarding lines shared by Tiscali and so their service is generally crap. Going with Pipex - fingers crossed!
Homer Thompson
Cant get your results link to work, but I'd also recommened checking here Once you've done that, go with freedom2surf cause theyre the best
RiG
Hmmm, they would have been quite good actually - think our line is limited to 2Mb and we are only likely to be there for a year anyways. Cheers for the info though!
