Less than 250 tickets left for the South Stand according to FFC so no cash turnstiles on the day. Think it was the same last time,  selling out just before kick off.

So circa 4,800 home fans turning up to see a team that has managed a total of 4 goals (conceding 13) and 0 wins from 9 home matches so far. Throw in embarrassing exits from the Challenge, League and Scottish Cups as well and it's frankly a miracle that the fans have stuck by the team in such numbers.

Hopefully we can finally get a win on Saturday to give us all a bit of optimism going in to the New Year/ transfer window.

At least you'll win the crowdwanking.

Ditch playing with 2 strikers and get back to attacking wing play instead of this hoofball shite. My last game was against Falkirk, incidentally, and that match would have got football banned. Think the ball was in the air more than it was on the grass ffs.
It was in your net for a wee while tho

Thank Christ we're both big teams.

Dunfermline fans have been backing their team in good numbers as well, and put in a million pounds over the last few seasons on top of that...one of these days we'll both get it right on the park. It would be good to see this game played in the Premiership where it belongs, can't see it happening any time soon right enough

No, neither can I.

I'm not sure that would bring massive attendances tbf, I think it's likely both sides will be challenging for the title in the next 3/5 years, big crowds at that.

I don't think the crowds would improve all that much in the top flight. We were both in the SPL during 05/06 and 06/07 and although the average crowd was 6388 during that first season, it dropped 10% the following year to 5796.

As Grant says, the biggest crowds would be seen if we were both competing for a league title or perhaps a Scottish Cup quarter-final.

That wasn't a home game for either side but unlikely we'll see another 17,000 crowd for a Falkirk-Dunfermline game, unless we were to meet in another semi or final.

A good reminder that beating Dunfermline, even though we were a bang average lower league side, was one of the greatest moments in Falkirk's history. It's kinda sweet to know we'll always be a #bigteam.

Yeah. Shameful episode in our history being excited to reach a Cup Final.

You've reached three cup finals in the last 20 years or so but beating the mighty Pars is the only semi that gets mentioned. Which is understandable, because beating us is more important than winning trophies.

More important than beating Celtic or Hibs, less important than attendances and sleeve tattoos.

Behind the Wall (this is a serious suggestion btw, ignore the other two)

This. I went there before (and after as the train was delayed!) the last game we played through there. It's right by the train station and a 2 minute walk away from the bus stop where you can get said bus that will deposit you right outside the ground.

It's also a great pub as it has loads of taps and a good bottle/can selection as well as plenty of spirits. Nice view of the Ochils as well.
