We get this same shite from Saintees every game. "Dundee are hopeless, Saintees are amazing. But Dundee are bound to win".
So if we do somehow manage to win you can always fall back on your prediction to save face.  The fact is St Johnstone are much better than Dundee this season and if we beat you it will be a minter for you considering how amazing you believe your team to be.
Just this season?

How many places above us did you finish last season?

Saints have as habit of giving Dundee a win just when they need it.

Please give us a late Christmas present!!!

Yeah, feels like Dundee always win the New Year fixture between the sides tbh.

Beating St Mirren then handing you 3 points would be very St Johnstone.

Where have I said anything near that? I've said our away form is incredible, that's a fact, not an opinion.

The only relevant word there is "above". And this will be the 11th (eleventh) season in a row where we have finished above your shower.

You have clearly missed my point in your fit of rage.

Outwith the OF and maybe Aberdeen just now, there's not really any team that's guaranteed a win against anyone else in this league (and even then Dundee drew with rangers, and we beat Aberdeen recently).

We lost at home to Motherwell on the back of 8 games undefeated a couple of weeks ago, we struggled to beat st Mirren on Boxing Day, and killie only drew with Hamilton.  Hoping for a win, but I don't think it'd be a huge shock if we don't.

The last two games at this time of year have finished 2-0 Dundee at McD last season when we were on a run of three games undefeated, 3-0 the Dees at Dens two seasons ago when we went there on the back of a 5 game unbeaten run.

Not sure about the suggestion that Saints get more up for it in games between the sides..  Since Dundee came back up 4-5 years ago, I think the record between the sides is roughly:

Dundee 7 wins        2 draws       Saints 6 wins

Compared to our record against Utd, who we have dominated under Tommy Wright.

Out of the teams which have been around the bottom six the past few years, our record against Dundee is probably worse than against any of the other teams.

Saints have been much better than Dundee for the last 11 years, but you raise your game against the big team occasionally, hence our poor recent record at Dens.

There is no question this has been St Johnstone’s most successful period in their history.  When are the Perth public going to be told about it though?

United really were fucking rubbish though...

A win here would set us up beautifully going into the winter break. Need to up the intensity from midweek though. Any word on Davidson’s injury?
