Jesus Christ. What a state to get yourself in.

It's debatable whether or not Aitken was successful with us. He had a decent first season, got lucky you guys were a shambles who gave us your best player in his second season, and then last year was an unmitigated shambles. Add into that the fact he drove a sizeable number of fans away, his recruitment in the summer, the way he started this season and the way he's acted since being rightly punted and you'll struggle to find many Sons fans with too much positive to say about him.

Feel free to read about it in detail if you want to make a more educated judgement on his time with us.

Of course C&G have had an impact, they've been nothing but positive for us, but, as BBPF has already said, this is their first season involved with the club. It's also worth pointing out that Carsy and Hutton both got jobs with them after they signed for us and before they were sponsors, Perry was already employed by them, and Forbes had worked for them a wee bit whilst at Morton. That leaves you with Bobby Barr, Rory Loy and Michael Paton as players who were effectively only convinced to sign for us by the C&G deal, and of that group Barr's the only one who's been decent.

Imagine football fans being pleased that their team signed good players - especially given Loy looked destined for Stark's prior to joining us. Heinous.

"Small band of fans" - we've got millions of fans m9, only Falkirk have more fans than us.

Who's getting themselves in a state? How long did you spend typing out that utter drivel?

The guy who is seething on the internet about comments made in the summer the day after his side bodied us 4-1.

About four minutes. Is there any aspect of it you disagree with, or is it just "drivel" because it contradicts your post?

What facts would those be?

Good job you guys have battered us this season, I dread to think what he must be like on East Fife threads.

Check our match thread from last week. The guy is (to steal a quote) on the verge of tears constantly.

Still don't understand how fanboy is actually an insult... OPEN YOUR EYES[emoji23]

Agree with you there. At 2-1 we were still in it.But that 3rd goal took any wind out of our sails. Also it has to be said we simply didnt compete 2nd half.DT had a poor game by his standards but the real problem was in the central defence. We are far better with Perry or Mclean in there.Carsy has to be in midfield. Also i think the team get ahead of themselves in the gallusness stakes. We are playing well aye  but we are not Man City or Juve.We need to stay humble and do the simple things right.Too many basic errors cost us.
Its all about next week now and a 6 pointer vs Stenny.Dare i say it..im feeling positive despite today.

We weren't still in it at 2-1. You could tell after ten minutes that we were going to lose that game.
