DOn't they usually play the midweek after though?

The group stages are mid-week/weekends. Last group stage game is a weekend.

Last group stage game is a weekend. Last yr or the year before Shire played Bsc Glasgow in the challenge cup on Saturday or sunday or something and then played the league game on the tuesday night. Wasn't it switched because of little mix

I think he's talking about a midweek league game they normally have one after the opening Saturday.

Last season we played 2 midweek games in August because of our involvement in the Irn Bru cup. We swapped the fixtures v Shire due to Little Mix, playing the cup game on the opening weekend and the league game the following Tuesday. The midweek game that we would have had was v Gretna and was moved to the end of August.
HibeeJibee
Here is the fixture list from LL website:http://slfl.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/The-Scottish-Lowland-Football-League-Season-2019-20-Fixture-List.pdf Berwick and EK don't play on the opening day due to their Scottish League Cup commitments, instead starting off in midweek. AlanCamelonfan
Kelty vs Berwick on the last day. It is a very tasty league. Wait till the EOSFL Premier League fixtures come out tonight. Be more of the same 2 minutes ago, HibeeJibee said: Here is the fixture list from LL website:http://slfl.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/The-Scottish-Lowland-Football-League-Season-2019-20-Fixture-List.pdf Berwick and EK don't play on the opening day, due to their Scottish League Cup commitments, instead starting off in midweek
HibeeJibee
From a Berwick point of view a tough opener at home v Bonnyrigg, as Robbie Horne makes his return to Shielfield. Away v EK on Scottish Cup R1 day (delayed from them opening day) an early indicator of how land lies. Then in October a midweek at Spartans followed immediately by home v Kelty. Trip to 'Shire in late November. Bonnyrigg v Berwick in groundhop on March 21st.

Ginaro
I see there's six Friday night games and three on a Sunday. With these fixtures coming out after the SPFL ones, surely this could be reduced so that ground-sharing teams are playing opposite to their SPFL ground mates? And a shame that the October international weekend, which is the English non-league day (12th October) as well this year, is again filled with cup games.
