Nimmo's Notes
1 Shire 2 Kelty 3 East Kilbride 4 BSC 5 Bonnyrigg 6 Spartans 7 Berwick 8 Edusport 9 Civil Service Strollers 10 Cumbernauld Colts 11 Dalbeattie 12 Vale of Leithen 13 Edinburgh University 14 Gretna 15 Stirling University 16 Gala A workmate once said to me that if Shire were playing Real Madrid, I would still fancy us to win, so no surprise with my top spot. All top 4 are capable of winning it. BSC aren't receiving the same coverage as Shire, Kelty and East Kilbride but could be equally strong and streetwise. Bonnyrigg and Spartans are just behind that quartet at the moment but Berwick are the mystery, until we find out what signings they have lined up. Edusport seem to be recruiting experience and Strollers are still strong, with a top manager, while Cumbernauld might need to replace a few bodies. Dalbeattie and Vale seem to be bringing players in that can keep them clear of the relegation zone. My bottom 4 is guesswork (much like the above!). The University teams are hard to predict (every team seems to be snapping up their players) but they'll always come up with freshers, though they may have a dog fight with Gretna and Gala, to stay up.

Spartans/Berwick Rest could go any way I think! Pretty much my thoughts too. Would maybe throw CSS in to the 6th place battle? At the bottom, I'll pick Edinburgh Uni. Realistically it could be any of 5/6 teams depending on how early results go!
selfassemblyshire
Shire to have won the league by Christmas and do the double. EK and Kelty finish 2nd and 3rd. Bonnyrigg to have the worst disciplinary record. Berwick to finish 10th or worse. Gala to go down. Shire to go up, beating Brora 12-0 on aggregate and Albion Rovers 7-2 on aggregate. Nicky Low and Mark Miller to both score 15 goals from midfield. A record number of absolute spankings to teams by Shire, Kelty and EK. Gogsy turns into a sensible, well respected poster (it's already happening). And finally: This post will come back to bite me on the arse. EDIT: 1 more! Rab stops making dotting accounts to boost his greenies
forrie_1
Top 4 is hard to separate Obvs hope the shire do it but so much disappointment over the years sets me up for a 2nd place finish (please make wrong in april 2020) 5. craigiemack
1. EK - Another walk in the park for ‘Kilby’ who then go on to bottle the play offs for the gazillionth time. 2. Berwick - After a poor start big Johnny Harvey returns and almost does the unthinkable. 3rd-14th. Some jobbers and junior diddies 15th. The Shire - The unknown international businessman withdraws funding in November with the club sitting 11th in the league meaning administration and a 30 point deduction. Stenhousemuir get relegated by Strathspey meaning Shire go down to the East of Scotland Sunday League. 16th. Spartans - Sadly the lure of a box office game against Liverpool under 16s can’t bring in the quality to survive in the Lowland League and the self proclaimed biggest club in the league enter the abyss, never to be seen again.

Quite easily the best thing I've read in a LL thread to date!

The_Judge
Plenty of reasons to be confident but with so many new players coupled with stronger opposition I think this will be a really tough league campaign and it wouldn't surprise me if it went to the wire.
Nimmo's Notes
Could be a great season in the Scottish Cup for Lowland League sides, so long as we can avoid one another in the draw.
