BillyAnchor
7 Florida players not playing to instead prepare for the NFL draft. Hard to blame them but it's a pattern that does not bode well for college football.

Hard to blame them but it's a pattern that does not bode well for college football. Players sit out the bowl games every year to prepare for the draft. Granted, 7 on one team is quite a lot, but unless you're in the playoff I see why they sit out what is essentially a meaningless game.

peasy23
This breakdown gives the full story. Should be a few bans dished out for that, certainly a couple on either side who might find themselves with more than just the NCAA committee to answer to. I've seen a few clips of brawls this year, have there been more than normal?
Craig fae the Vale
End if the Georgia v Cincinnati game in the Peach Bowl was wild, Georgia kicker hit his career long to win the game. Settling down for Alabama and Notre Dame in the Rose Bowl (held in Arlington, Texas due to Covid) now. Hoping for a competitive game.

I watched the Florida game with the brawl and watched last night's game with the brawl, simply because nothing else on TV interested me. I normally watch the Hurricanes games if possible, which are usually uneventful.

peasy23
Alabama 21-7 ahead at half time, Notre Dame moved the ball better just before the break but missed a FG attempt with a few seconds left. They need to find a way to stop the 'Bama offence.
magic sign
There has been a reasonable amount of talk about Miami trading down the Texans 1st round pick, (or trading up Miami's 1st round pick) to get DeVonta Smith. He's done his cause no harm in this game.
