7 Florida players not playing to instead prepare for the NFL draft. Hard to blame them but it's a pattern that does not bode well for college football.

Players sit out the bowl games every year to prepare for the draft. Granted, 7 on one team is quite a lot, but unless you're in the playoff I see why they sit out what is essentially a meaningless game.

This breakdown gives the full story.

Should be a few bans dished out for that, certainly a couple on either side who might find themselves with more than just the NCAA committee to answer to. I've seen a few clips of brawls this year, have there been more than normal?

To be honest, I have no idea. I watched the Florida game with the brawl and watched last night's game with the brawl, simply because nothing else on TV interested me. I normally watch the Hurricanes games if possible, which are usually uneventful.

End if the Georgia v Cincinnati game in the Peach Bowl was wild, Georgia kicker hit his career long to win the game.
Settling down for Alabama and Notre Dame in the Rose Bowl (held in Arlington, Texas due to Covid) now. Hoping for a competitive game.
I might put that on after the football. Good shout.

Fancy the Clemson v Ohio game to be a better match up, with the added interest of two of the better QBs going head to head, especially as I just watched the series of QB1 on Netflix with Justin Fields in it.
