The Big Relegation Thread

There's a slight flaw in the 538 model in that it only calculates up to the split in terms of the relegation %, or it did 2 years ago anyway.

It also adds up to 150% as it assumes whoever finishes 11th has a 50% chance of winning the playoff (which I'd think is a bit low). If you're on laptop it does at least break down the predicted chance of finishing 12th

Would an Ayrshire Derby Playoff Final be the best spectacle that Scottish Football has ever seen?

Not for me to say, but yes.

Please don't do that.  Our season started with a disappointing defeat over two legs to a diddy club.  To end it the same way would be devastating.

P+B's very own Craig Burley down the front row.

Nothing really changes, apart from the two worst goal differences getting even worse.

Next round of fixtures...

Eyes automatically drawn to Kilmarnock v County, and St Johnstone v Hearts. Two massive games, and the losers will feel doomed. A chance Hamilton could find themselves bottom before they host Celtic.

Because my phone screen was big enough to show 7 teams at once

Hibs are 250/1 and Livingston 500/1

That makes sense now that I think about it!

I am no longer offended.
