Time for Glen to depart, this place clearly isnt healthy for him.

From now on can we try and keep the debate civil.

By all means disagree and argue but no need for the continual foul language and aggression.

With the best will in the world, horse fucking simpleton is here to stay - albeit likely to be used in a more civil way.

He's using the same tactics as his pals at the Tron were trying: to incite a heads-gone moment because coverage of the march would have focused on that. Nobody in the march rose to the bait; we just laughed and waved to them.

For some funny reason the ariel pictures of the "march" appear to be photoshopped.  All you see is purple blobs with no definition and no other colours. Surely there were many Lion Rampant flags but as stated all you can see is purple blobs.

That's an abysmal photoshop

What absolute bullshit. You do not know what I do or have done in the past so don't dare call me selfish.

Its people like you that are prepared to have independence at any cost, f**k the consequenses. That is selfish. You are the type of person that is wrong with Scotland.

Your political views are completely aligned with an uncaring , selfish, corrupt, cowardly leader of a party who have no interest in anyone but themselves and their rich pals. The fact that you believe in Boris, so you believe in their policies and actions which makes you a selfish totally reprehensible human being.

Needs a team of counters in various locations, imho. This one vantage point doesn't seem to work.

What a load of hyperbole hogwash. There are many reasons to back Conservatism not least financial pragmatism, small governance, and the general belief that the more wealth is in our economy the more the wealth of each individual grows. There is no doubt at all in my mind that I am wealthier than my parents or grandparents ever were - something that I believe is replicated throughout most Scottish households - and by that measure the Thatcher, Major and Cameron years have been a tremendous success.

If you want to talk about corruption perhaps it's best to look at who you vote for before casting stones elsewhere. The SNP has been home to a convicted embezzler who stole funds due for a food bank, and a solicitor who was found guilty of malpractice in the mishandling of several trust funds. You've had a party leader who is currently awaiting trial for 14 sex offences and an MSP sentenced for domestic violence against two ex wives and his daughter and a former Childcare minister who has resigned his post after it emerged that he had been sending "inappropriate and unwanted" text messages to three different ladies. Then it's emerged today that the SNP Lord Provost In Glasgow has been buying up a shoe collection to rival Immelda Marcos at council tax payers expense whilst council services were being cut and staff being made redundant.

For the record though - the fact you vote for reprehensible and corrupt politicians doesn't make you a selfish or reprehensible human being - just an incredibly hypocritical and naive one IMO

Good for you. The fact that most of the rest of the country is poorer doesn't bother you. Presumably there are no food banks anywhere near you - if there were, I bet you'd campaign to have them moved out of sight.

Selfish c**t.

What do you base your claims on?

I base mines on ONS figures on wealth in the UK.

Figures like the median household total net wealth figure of £262,400 from July 2016. How many of our grandparents had any net wealth at all?

Most people in the UK these days struggle to categorise themselves within any of the traditional social classes. Most who do who were from traditional working class backgrounds would now claim to be middle class. Even the fact that many football fans - since this is a football forum - think nothing of spending £25 per head n admission, and twice that again on travel, food and drink on a match day is evidence of that wealth has increased substantially.

the whole of western civilisation is better off than thier grandparents were , it doesn't make the previous admins a success. its a European trend ,that doesnt mean that the gap between poor and rich any narrower though , far from it , your comment about SNP mp's being corrupt is quite a sweeping generalisation isn't it ? The tory's are more likely worse but squirm thier way out of any convictions IMO .

Great, you know all about the awfy bad SNP.  Now can you give the same micro-review of your tory meenesters who have not upheld their office to your own unblemished standards ??

Start with de pfeffelllll and, when you're finished with him later in the week, turn your attention to the other self-serving cretins who have held public office.

Was cameron knobbing mone and conferred a grubby token on her "for services" to your government ??

Only askin' , like.

Probably still claim quarter of a million and claim the nasty corrupt BBC airbrushed 235,000 people out.

I wasn’t too far off, The National in full victim mode claiming a UK media blackout.

Shame it’s a laughable comic that about five people read.

Absolutely, most countries that have followed a moderately right of centre set of fiscal policies has seen growth in wealth amongst all of it's residents. Countries that have followed socialist or communist policies have generally ended up with bankrupt regimes and destitute and impoverished people. The policies of conservatism have been a success globally for  the pockets of many, many households.

The gap between poor and rich is unimportant. Its the comparative wealth of the generations that is important. I couldn't care less about how wealthy Alan Sugar, Richard Branson, or Simon Cowells of the world are. What is important to me is how well I'm doing and the opportunities that are there for my kids and grandkids to continue the pattern throughout their lifetimes too.
