sirscottyoung
Forfar team look all over the place. Have battered McCallum in goals who's having a blinder
Life on Marrs?
Can only recall one save he's made. We have been well on top, wallace deserved a goal though
King Kebab
HT Stats... This looks awful similar to the last game!!!
Stevo Fife
Our recent inability to punish teams by more goals is a tad concerning. Could/should have been top tonight with my feet up in front of the fire and Frank locked in the shed. Suppose we'll have to give Raith the usual pumping to straighten things out.
King Kebab
One goal, that’s all we needed to go top and agin we had more than enough chances to get it, for the second home game on the trot, we should have been out of sight by half-time and but had to suffer some arse-clenching moments, We seemed to get more nervous as the second half went on, only a wonder save from Hart (making up for the last game) saved our blushes and kept us at the top, but tbh the Forfar player should have done a lot better with his shot!!! We didn’t really start to look confident until Janny made an appearance and shored up the midfield and Tonks started making a nuisance of himself when he came on!!! We are starting to look like a side that can be got at if we aren’t dominating the scoreboard, maybe we are better at coming from behind than building a lead!!! Anyway, we won and a clean sheet, so it can’t be all bad, and sets us up for a winner takes all game next week in Kirkoddie!!! Forfar sadly look a shadow of the side they were last season and it’s good to see Sparky hasn’t changed, he managed to Shout and blame everybody else on his team for the goal they lost without accepting any responsibility himself!!! sneed hearn
Thought Docherty played well for a Forfar and bossed Agnew.Great to see out the win but we can’t keep missing great chances. It is putting pressure on the team .Well done to Jordan Hart who made a couple of important saves.Thought Chris Higgins held the defence together.
Gordon EF
First time this season we've won ugly. I'm actually pretty pleased about that.
Life on Marrs?
We do seem to always want to take one more pass than needed and over egg the pudding, I'm bring over critical though. When you think of some of the pish we've endured over the years. That's certainly been the Darren Young way, keeps you excited till the end. Well done boys & well done Jordan Hart. Good to see Brett encouraging him, especially when he took a knock. Shows he's not the type to sit moping that he's not in the side - everyone fighting for the cause!

MR.E
Game of two halves for sure. Should’ve atleast been 3/4 up. Thought Church looked shaky but to be honest never felt threatened by Forfar. Granted I have only seen Rovers, Forfar, Falkirk and Clyde but Forfar the worst team I’ve seen us play and to be honest we were there for the taking at times. Higgy and Dunlop MOTM for me. Wallace put a shift but need him to start finishing more chances
Cosmic Joe
Stewart Murdoch was my motm. One misplaced pass aside, I thought he was excellent. Dunsy and Wallace were terrific before the break, not so effective in the second half....
Ferf2019
Some people will blame jim weir but I blame the players not enough spark not enough aggression
loon74
No midfield and takes off our 2 best players ! Easy win for east fife should of been more Deserved boos from the , forfar fans that travelled Bain and coupe and of course mcallum only ones with pass marks today Worse too watch than a Gary Bollan side

smuggfifer
Rode our luck a bit, 2nd half, but that's what it takes to maintain a top position in any league. Win ugly as they say. But can we not make life a bit easier by taking a few of the 1st half chances? McCallum had a few decent saves to make, but most, you would expect your keeper to take. We seem to fine untill teams go gung ho looking for an equaliser. We need to to take the chances that come along from quick counters, but we don't. Just have to see how it goes next Saturday.
fifer67
Thought our two centre backs were immense and special mention to Hart for his efforts today . Ryan Wallace was unplayable first half, but just never got any service after the break. But any wins most welcome however it comes. Our goal was very well taken and we really should have been out of sight by half time. But just like a fortnight ago one nil is a fragile lead and Forfar would be wondering at half time how they still have a foot hold in the game. Forfar looked ok second half but if their fans are honest they’ll be worried about the lack of quality in the final third.
EFFC1938
We don't half make things difficult for ourselves at times but it's another 3 points towards the play offs and a clean sheet! I've been critical of Hart in the past and felt that Long should have started but Hart had his best game for a while so well done to him. We need to start playing for the full 90 and not just 45 minutes, no disrespect to Forfar but I felt a good side would have punished us 2nd half and felt we rode our luck a bit but we're still unbeaten and sitting pretty in the league and if we can win ugly it's all good! Let's take a great support through to Kirkcaldy next Sat and come back with the 3 points against an injury hit Rovers side who will be missing their best defender after his red card today. Heard a few people talking about Darren Young and the Ayr United position, all rumours but of course he's been interviewed and wants full time football (who wouldn't) so good luck to him if he goes and hopefully we will be compensated unlike when Barry Smith left but fingers crossed we can keep him until his contract is up. MON THE FIFE!!

Yip, our inability to create and take chances will kill us this season. Hilson and Jackson missing so much is a problem but I don’t think either are the answer either.
