Celtic will celebrate their 9/10/11/12/13 in a row like it's some sort of achievement

You do have to wonder when (if) they'll ever get bored.

No, I'm serious, you do have to wonder. Because I certainly won't be wasting any time thinking about it.

In modern football it's basically impossible for a smaller club to challenge over the course of a season barring a miracle of having exactly the right personnel turn up together at exactly the right time (see Leicester). Building a side over a period of time is no longer an option. Holding on to promising youngsters is no longer an option - they're being bought up before they've even appeared in the first team.

Tierney is a big loss to Celtic this season plus you can see Aberdeen still haven't replaced Shinnie but it's no different to losing Dalglish,Lambert or Jess.
Maybe there is a lack of talent to replace the players that leave, there is always a bigger fish.
Every player wants to play at the highest level possible or a better bank balance.

Celtic have players that don't even make their match day squad that would be stand out players at Aberdeen, Hearts, Hibs et al.

Having this depth in relative quality makes a huge difference over the course of a season.

Again this thread isn't about Celtic.

Killie lost Taylor to Celtic Killie replace Taylor, have Celtic replaced Tierney?

Are motherwell better without Turnbull?

Just because Celtic shop in a different market doesn't mean it's different.

All clubs lose players.

Celtic have replaced Tierney with Bolingoli-Mbomboa and arguably Kilmarnock's best player in Taylor......and he's not even getting a game!

Yes all Clubs lose players but it's far harder to find a gem when your shopping in the bargain basement bin.

As a competition the league is shite.

Celtic will celebrate their 9/10/11/12/13 in a row like it's some sort of achievement while no one cares except beeling cream buns

Hopefully it'll drive the 2012 incarnation into the ground like the original......then we can watch Celtic wither at the vine again.

Ok, I'll try to break this down to a simplistic terms as possible.....take a look at all the leagues around Europe and the Clubs that dominate them:

Real, Barca, Benfica, Porto, Bayern, Juve, PSG, Man City, Chelsea, Man Utd.

What's the common denominator?

Again your taking it out of context, this is about our league.
Your saying it's harder to find another Taylor at Killie than it is to find another Tierney at Celtic Why?
Taylor was one of Killie's best players just like Tierney at Celtic, some Celtic fans would say Tierney was a once in a generation player.
Football is about levels Taylor needs to step up if he is going to make the grade at Celtic.

Think of player development as a conveyor belt, Willie, albeit that some players only get so far along the conveyor belt. Celtic can afford to buy(and pay) players much further along the conveyor belt than the likes of Kilmarnock.

Celtic can also afford the best scouting network which identifies the potential in youngsters. They also pay their youngsters more.

It's quite simple, Willie. Money talks.

I disagree, for me it works both ways, players are treated like robots with all the sports science whether your at Celtic or Killie, everything is monitored.
It took 2 years for Christie to make the grade at Celtic not every club has that patience with the help of the loan spell at Aberdeen.
Killie players O'donnell and Findlay were released by Celtic at a young age but have rekindled their careers into the national team.
You can't take the human aspects out of the game it's not simple and money isn't everything.

Ryan Christie didn't come through the Celtic youth development.

If Celtic didn't get Hayes from Aberdeen I doubt Christie would've went out on loan which was a big part of his development.
He took the opportunity and never looked back,it worked out better for Christie than Hayes plus Aberdeen got dosh and a future talent.
I said at the time Aberdeen got the best deal ,a few sheep fans on here disagreed.

Again, Celtic can afford to wait for a talent to develop over more years, whereas Club with less money are forced to "cut and run" after a period of time.

For example: Beckham never broke into the Man Utd team until 23yo.......a player at Kilmarnock wouldn't be afforded the same luxury.
