The Binos v Cowdenbeath

Recommended Posts

Tuesday night at Forthbank we welcome Cowdenbeath for a rearranged League match that was called off on Saturday due to Cowdenbeath’s Cup Replay.

After their defeat by Broxburn on Saturday, Cowdenbeath come to Forthbank hoping to turn things around and keep up their League Title Challenge by getting the 3 points.

The Binos bottom of the League need the points to get them off the bottom and kickstart their season. Vital game for both teams but hopefully the Binos come out on top and start to progress up the League.

Prediction Binos 1 Cowdenbeath 0

Too right !

big week for us which could be season defining. After an embarrassment of a display on sat, we have the chance to win at Stirling on Tuesday which means playing Cove at home for top of the league on Saturday.

then again, it’s Cowdenbeath,  it could all go tits up !

Was so disappointing yesterday and we never looked like scoring, whereas majority of the season we did look like team who do, some of the defending was poor at times,  disappointed for all who work hard at the club behind the scenes,  need to concentrate on the league now,  I won't be too worried yet, still going well in 2nd & nice gap on 5th but the players must be looking for response in this one, the 2 Hearts boys coming back helps a bit im sure, need to keep the ball on the ground sometimes, when its just big Renton up their isolated, Cox will be looking to link up better with him on Tuesday, was not feeding off him yesterday like in other times this season, going for 1-0 cowden still lol

Hope the manager can find a couple of fullbacks somewhere. With Fraser being out and no left back, this is not looking good.

Harvey swann is a left back.. Folk saying he aint good defensively are naive.. He actually is getting better and has the best person to coach him.. an ex left back who played at a decent level.

Harvey is always best when coming onto the game not when right back pushed tight too him as no space for him to work and he aint that quick to get away from someone touch tight. Defo a left back.

Back to tried and tested formation with Hamilton back in as a centre/sweeper.. Buchanan right wing back.

Don't agree about Harvey, and I ain't naive. Hope I 'm wrong though.

I’m at a loose end in Stirling tonight, is this worth going to?

Does the stadium have a bar?

There’s a bar at the cricket clubhouse next to Stadium.

On the swither myself. It does look like it will be absolutely Baltic outside.

Lucky to escape with a point there. Another game where the opposition wanted it a bit more than us. Pass marks to our back line and in particular Dubrowski - made some very good stops.

Was impressed with the striker Stirling brought on.

Hope the lads that got the headknocks are ok.

Stirling far more comfortable in possession and could easily have won that game. Thankfully they are a bit powder upfront although we did defend well at times too.

The big keeper had 3/4 good stops and won us the point really.

Thats only the 2nd time I have seen the 2 hearts lads, and both times Hamilton has been far more influential than Smith. Hope the young lad keeps going though, can see he likes to run at defences with the ball and hopefully he will find ways to hurt teams and grow as a player.
Also thought Swann was decent, as he was Saturday and gives us some creativity when he can.
