yeah they have been. My killie mates complained about the lack of signings early in the season but tbh the ones brought in before deadline day have been really good. It’s  only the panic buy ones that have been strange additions

Aye, as soon as he hit it my thoughts were "oh ya fanny!". It was woeful. I'd agree with that, the pre-deadline day signings have been largely good additions to the team but the guys signed on deadline day or thereafter haven't featured a lot but when they have, they've not made any lasting impression. It probably wouldn't be hard to improve on some of them in the next window.

The summer as a whole was a bit of a shambles, so it's actually a credit to Alessio and the players that we are where we are in the league. We should have a decent amount of budget to play with in January - there's no way that the players who came in during the summer are on as much as those who left, and we also have the Taylor money and the extra 3rd place prize money we didn't budget for last year. I'd like to see at least one "marquee" signing who can create a bit of buzz - it's that sort of Mulumbu/Stewart/Jones magic that this team are missing.
