Coronavirus (COVID-19)

People don't give two fucks when it comes to retail. They never have. That's why it's ripe as f**k the now ( me included the now another 7 days left to go )
It's class the now as we are getting a shortage of drivers and deliveries are all the place. Depot is fucked also.  Happy days
Not sure its people who are directly to blame. Maybe if supermarkets themselves hadnt seized the opportunity to expand their sales to cover literally everything that was closed down at the height of it, and literally try to attract folk in for a day out it wouldnt have gone that way.

I cannot believe how fucking outrageous that arsehole is. The influenza virus which caused the Spanish flu outbreak is now one of our endemic flu viruses, we learn to live with them, Javid is making an entirely valid point. What would she prefer we do? Just lock down forever? Genuinely would chuck myself off a bridge if I thought this would go on for years and years because im already at my wits end.
If Devi and her disciples want to live in a safe zero covid bubble forever they can wear masks til the end of time, work exclusively from home and only date or socialise via zoom, absolutely chuffed to bits for every c**t who wants to do that, but they can absolutely go get themselves fucked if they think that just because they hold their high and mighty opinions that everyone else has to stick with them. its a bit like a religious zealot telling a humanist woman they cant have an abortion because their god (and not the womans) says its bad.

Absolutely at the fucking end of my tether with these complete thundercunts and wish they’d just f**k off and live in some kind of socially distanced commune on an island off the coast of canada or something where they can just go consensus the shit out of each other and eat a diet of porridge whilst watching some kind of zoom concert of songs about never being too careful.
Life is risky, we do risky things every day, but we can assess that risk, if it has value or meaning then we do it, yes we had to lock down at the height of this, I dont object to that, but completely get it all to f**k now. Just wish I could fast forward the next month or so and just get it all absolutely so far to f**k.
I like porride.

But aye, Amen.

Masks are shite, I doubt you will find too many who would say otherwise but as far as removing restrictions go THE one that simply has to go is social distancing. It's SD that is preventing sectors of the economy from operating normally including pubs and football stadiums. We simply have to ditch all SD measures by 9 August, none of this reducing to 1m shite. Ideally both will be removed but I would be far more annoyed at any attempt to retain an element of SD than masks.

I fear there is going to be some nonsense about nightclubs that you have to wear your mask unless seated at a table with a drink.

Masks on for dancing and don’t dare get off with a burd or you’re out!

Course it's People to blame. The rest you know is spot on. These were the same supermarkets that took more people on , people's jobs were under furlough ( or some weren't getting paid or lost there job etc ).

Course its people to blame. Don't go to London if you don't have a ticket , people go and come back and coincidence being my city certainly is ripe with covid. Even my youngest is fucked and tested positive ( he is 9 and in his room) I dont even know where I got mine from , I presume work as we get many people coming through etc.

Going back 6 months . We have never attempted to social distance, just hasn't happened.

Like I got told way back ( wasn't when people were spitting) we are not the police so we can't enforce shit.

Lucky I get covered for my time off work

What ‘sort’ of people?
Im intrigued.

I think he means right wing p***ks, you might know of a few most of us do ?

Okay, thanks.

The reason I’m right of centre is that people of the left tend to be far more authoritarian and want to control the lives of the public to a much greater extent.

I much prefer a belief in the individual rather than state control.

What a total generalised nonsense of a statement. In this country people of all political persuasions and none are free to make their own mind up about everything and anything. You take is the stuff of third year 1984 modern studies.

Social distancing rarely happens.
That's irrelevant. It's enshrined in legislation thus preventing us doing umpteen things we should be able to. There is zero spontaneity in life either with it. For as long as it's enforced on business our lives are shite.

So going by that last SG statement we could be in a situation where there’s no social distancing but you have to wear a mask on public transport but not in a pub?

You can check into a pub if they wish that to be enforced.

Retail and Public transport mentioned specifically. "Retail" is a loose concept I suppose.

I really can't see that bit in bold happening.

Once masks become optional that'll be the end of people having towear them anywhere.

For some reason though, the Scottish government seem determined to retain the legal requirement to wear these useless things beyond the 9th August even when England ditches them on 19th July. This simply isn't going to be sustainable up here if England is free of them.

I’ll have to agree to disagree with you about that.

Same as washing your hands etc they will certainly be required by folk entering hospital. It would actually be a good thing as there has been a much lower rate of people getting infections in hospital with them.

I’d be disappointed if the NHS buckled and just let folk do what they want inside hospitals.

But coming from the same people who brought you ‘Don’t wear a mask as it’ll scare the patients’ in Late Feb 2020 I wouldn’t be surprised <_<

Agreed.

If masks worked and we've got 90% compliance on that for about a year now, Sturgeon needs to explain clearly why we are facing such enormous  increases in cases. Oh and if she says something about "cases would be even higher without them" she can f**k right off even further than she can f**k right off now.

Agreeeeeeeeed.

Also, why are we so far behind England?

Time for civil disobedience.
