Do you genuinely believe this? That any poster is enjoying these wild restrictions on life so that they can, eh, post angrily about the restrictions on Pie & Bovril?

Does anyone genuinely believe wee Jason enjoys dampening folks enthusiasm, surely egotists would rather tell everyone what they want to hear.

No, but there's no way he isn't enjoying his moment in the sun. He can't get enough of the limelight.

No, I haven’t said he does and don’t remember seeing any other posts accusing him of that. What he has been accused of is enjoying being relevant outside of his usual narrow field and trying to keep himself in the limelight.

Will that be the limelight left by that stupid woman doing as she pleased with her family all those months ago.

Good, balanced article which rationally highlights, in comforting terms, that most 'Covid long haulers!' are, unsurprisingly, fantasist Helen Lovejoy types.

Well, no. Because he was in the limelight long before she did that and he’s not her replacement.

The detailed data, if you are so inclined as to look at it, is really interesting. Cases clearly falling again quite significantly. Cases amongst over 65s absolutely tiny in number (only one in the 85+ group today for example). Over the course of the past year cases are roughly split 60/40 between the 0-44 age group and 44+ age group. Now that split is just short of 3/1 based on the last seven days. That's the vaccine effect on full display - and obviously that over 44 group still has a significant number of unvaccinated people/people who have only just had their first jag in it.

Deaths by date of death (rather than date of reporting) are absolutely tiny as well. Obviously that data comes in over a period of time - but of the seven reported today one was from nine days ago and two were from last Wednesday. From Thursday to yesterday only five deaths have been recorded. Those numbers will go up - but the progression suggests only by a tiny amount.

Here was me thinking that she was fronting the ads and doing most of the daily briefings.

I don't remember her going on OTB every other week, trying to appear über relevant by talking about "checking with guys" and generally taking any and every opportunity to be the centre of attention tbh.

After yesterday’s small rise hospital numbers down again to 341 from 353.
ICU number also down from 33 to 28.

Quite a drop in new cases today compared to last Tuesday. Five fewer in ICU, 12 fewer in hospital, approx 43,000 vaccine doses administered.
Keep it coming...
Fire posts like these into my big vaccined veins.
