Cases amongst over 65s absolutely tiny in number (only one in the 85+ group today for example). Over the course of the past year cases are roughly split 60/40 between the 0-44 age group and 44+ age group. Now that split is just short of 3/1 based on the last seven days. That's the vaccine effect on full display - and obviously that over 44 group still has a significant number of unvaccinated people/people who have only just had their first jag in it. Deaths by date of death (rather than date of reporting) are absolutely tiny as well. Obviously that data comes in over a period of time - but of the seven reported today one was from nine days ago and two were from last Wednesday. From Thursday to yesterday only five deaths have been recorded. Those numbers will go up - but the progression suggests only by a tiny amount.
